Lure Painting (Top Water popper) w/bass catching video
Painting this Pop "R" was fairly easy once you have the hang of airbrushing. Just a simple combination of colors and your ready. Just be sure the clear coat is brushed on, not dipped. I found out the hard way with that one. Be sure the catch the video at the end to see the lure in action. Please like and subscribe and add a comment below if you have one. Thx for watching! #fishing #lurepainting #airbrush #topwater

2024 Zman Bassin' year in review
Переглядів 5814 днів тому
This was an exciting year of fishing out on the water. Enjoy this video of some of my best and interesting catches from starting the year off with my PB blade bait bass along with some early season magdraft big girls, also s surprising crappie and catfish that decided to play. It was the year of the cicadas as you'll hear. From farm pond big bass to hook removal, there's also some hand painted ...
Lure painting (craw style)
Переглядів 190Місяць тому
This is my first video of lure painting so bare with me, I've been painting on and off for about a tear or so and really enjoying the hobby. It's a lot more enjoyable when you have success with the lures you paint and I'll include a few at the end. I'd rather fish then paint, but on the bad weather days, I'm able to get some work done. Let me know what you think (good or bad) and I may consider...
The power of a Rattletrap (Mega school) (58 bass in 68 cases)
Переглядів 1732 місяці тому
Ahhh November bass fishing... After nearly 3 hrs of hardly a bite, this shows why November is one of the best times of the year to catch them. When the shad are plentiful and the bass are feeding up for the winter, it's game on. If you can find the shad, like I did, it can be an epic day out on the water. Believe it or not, all you have to do is watch the footage. You'll get to see 74 of the ov...
Making the adjustment to win a local bass tournament
Переглядів 442 місяці тому
I thought I had pretty good idea where I could find some quality bass during this local tournament, but when the bass weren't there, as a North wind had repositioned them, we were able to figure out where they had gone and caught some good ones, enough to win this small tournament of a 3 bass limit catch. It's a good feeling when you make a move that improves your day out on the lake. #fishing ...
Does BFS only catch little fish?
Переглядів 712 місяці тому
Catching a big bass on small bait use a BFS rig can be challenging but if your gear is good and hooks are sharp, it can be very rewarding. Using smaller baits during the fall time, can bring in the biggest bass. It's even better when it's your bait that you just made. Small crankbaits and small swimbaits work great this time of the year when bass are chasing smaller bait fish. #bassfishing #fis...
Fishing artificial structure for bass (w/Grubworm baits)
Переглядів 453 місяці тому
We hit the lake to find out if and how well the newly installed artificial trees and brush was working out on a lake that has very little structure in it. We found out that within only a few weeks of being installed, that the fish were drawn to it like a magnet. And using the Grubworm creature baits made it a highly successful fishing trip. So yes, on this lake it was a success as you will see....
Table Rock Lake fishing
Переглядів 1723 місяці тому
Table Rock lake in Missouri has several different types of species of fish and we found out on this fishing trip. From walleye to smallmouth bass, to spotted and largemouth bass. It's always a blast and you never know what might be on the other end of your fishing line. Below I added chapters for quick access to each fish caught. #bassfishing #fishing #tablerocklake 0:00 Intro 0:08 Hook set int...
Using a Rattletrap when bass are chasing bait
Переглядів 1,2 тис.3 місяці тому
There are a couple different techniques when using a rattletrap, you have the straight retrieve, drag and drop, and also the lift and drop or yo-yo. Usually one of the techniques work better then the other, but with the bass chasing bait on this day, it didn't seem to matter which one you used, as long as you put it in front of them, they'd eat it. Give it a try and you'll enjoy a good day out ...
September bass fishing
Переглядів 794 місяці тому
September bass fishing has always been known to be the toughest time to catch bass but not impossible. This video just goes to show you that you can catch them in various ways. With the bait fish on the move from deeper water to shallow, it's tough to pinpoint where the bass are and of course the bass have seen numerous baits all year. Get out there ahead of these bass and catching them won't b...
Helping the local wildlife while bass fishing
Переглядів 354 місяці тому
We've all been there, extra loose fishing line in the boat or while fishing from the bank. We as fishermen need to do our part in protecting the wildlife and preserving it for future anglers. Pick up your trash, throw away extra fishing line, and try not to abuse the fish you catch. Leave the lake the way you found it or better by picking up someone else's trash that they left behind. If we all...

I got a box of hard baits setback for you to make your own.
Looking forward to it. Had fun with the dice baits.
Great year in review. Let's kook-up and try our luck.

Bass slayer day.
Very fun and exciting.
Volume is very low!
At first it is but once the fishing begins, it's better. Hope you enjoyed it.
Good fishing man, and cool channel I’ll definitely subscribe
Ty and thx for your support
Looking good.
@@JimJoyceChoate Ty sir
All dinks
Keep trying! This is the time of the year where the big ones will eat the smaller baits.
Should change the title to "removing a swallowed hook from a bass" because you really didn't show how at all or explain how at all.
I couldn't get the camera angle I really wanted, but I explain how and what I did at the bottom of the page. If you watch closely, you can see I went through the gills for a better grip with the pliers and twisted the hook back out the same way it went in. Hopefully that gives you a better idea.
Making some swims and frogs for you to paint this winter. (Soft plastic)
Tight lines
Good times
Always
Looks like a good day of catching and not fishing. They say it's called fishing when you're not catching. Tight Lines.
Did you say “1070”? After catching some of them. If so, why?
TN-70 is the kind of rattletrap I was using
@@zmanbassfishing Thank you sir!
Is there a reason you use a left hand spinning reel and a right hand bait caster?
No reason. It's just a comfort thing to me. I'm right handed but with the spinning rod, I tried it both ways and for whatever reason, using my left hand feels more comfortable.
@@zmanbassfishing I noticed it with other people as well and I thought maybe bait casters only come in right hand but when I went and bought my first bait caster I saw you can get left hand retrieve. Anyways thanks for the reply.
nice like always man, some chokage on that dude at the end nice build to him too!
Thx bud
Ok if I put this on Gworm bait page?
Sure
Love a Trap across the top weed beds when it's fall, and the wind is blowing.
Always a good time
Nice fish
Thx bud

Looks dark
It was at first. Early Early morning
😮
Awesome Z.
Thx!
Curios what overpopulation means in a lake that massive. Is this a pay lake?
Its not a giant lake, but most of the bass were similar in size, and needed to be thinned out. (Most fishermen call it stunted)
Looks foggy out awesome view
It’s nice!
nice sesh man, always on em!
Thank u!
Great job man!! Way too hustle!! Lol That was a chunkster for sure!!
Thank u!
What is a deep the hump?
It was mostly a 12ft hump next to 20 ft of water.
@@zmanbassfishing what is the cranckbait the video and rod setup?

I give you credit. Even if I knew it wouldn’t hurt I couldn’t rip it like that.
One I didn’t want a hospital trip and second I still wanted to fish. Lol
Your a legend for not say ouch even once❤
If done properly, you won’t feel much of anything. Not to say it didn’t sting going in.
Ouch
Few good ones and many smaller ones. Good day regardless.
Yes it was!
nice slob to end it!!
Bass are colorblind to blue. 😂
All I know is that it works, and works great! It stands out in dirty water so if not blue what do they see?
buncha nice ones!
Thank u
Those Roccos are flat out AMAZING
One of my favs
Black and blue chatter bait. I’ve seen that before
It’s pretty much a staple for me in stained water. You know how it is.
What size of spinnerbait was you using.? Thanks
1/2 oz. Thx for watching!
hell yeah man what an awesome day bunch of big ones
It was a gd day! Thx!
Black and blue never fails.
nice vid man whacking em!
Thx!
We've all been the guy just asking what color/lure your buddy is throwing because he won't stop getting bit. Good vibes!
Thx!
What temp is it where you are? It’s usually mid 50s to mid 70s where I am and I just can’t get the bite
Upper 50’s at the moment
I've heard that you can loose fish by grabbing the line like that?
Now I know why you asked about the trickster spinnerbait.
You know I have a reason for most things I ask about
I’ve heard that somewhere before.
