We are in the process of moving to SoCal and I want to drive down and participate in next year‘s dear them were those at Hollywood forever. As a person who doesn’t wear make up at all on the regular. Your video totally had me feeling confident that I could re-create this look or something similar with my own preferred color palette. So congratulations for being able to be concise and thorough and yet give your viewers the confidence that they could re-create this look! I just wanted to ask though, as someone who doesn’t wear make up, but knows enough to recognize that many of the products you used are on the higher end, do you find that the quality of the make up affects the outcome of the Calavera? I’d hate to invest in that kind of money and only be able to do this for one or two nights a year. Thoughts?

This tutorial was fantastic!! This was the first year I was brave enough to try this look and it came out better than I could have anticipated... even with a few fits and starts. Thank you for making a tutorial that was both informative and accessible. The one thing I did learn is remembering that pigments show up differently on darker skin so choosing carefully!
