Thanks for the video. It's true there is not much content on the web about Goldentyre. A question: looking to Goldentyre catalogue (Rally), GT823KH is only front 90/90-21. For the rear there is GT723RH 140/80-18. Is that what you have in the rear?

Hey Majestix, any update on these tyres? Have you gone back for another set? Looking to try these on my Desert X. Cheers 😀
Hi Tori I still have them and would sell the set if you are in europe? BR
@@majestix_adv I wasn't looking to purchase them from you; as I am in Australia. I was interested to see if these are still your go-to tyre for your adv bike, or if you've found something else? Plenty of choices out there : Motoz, Pirelli, Mitas, etc etc . . . but I have no experience with Goldentyre and there is very little information/reviews on the web for these 823's.

Bro I wanted to buy. 2016 gsa is it worth to buy in 2024??
Sure its worth to buy, but depends on the km and Price someone ask for it? In my opinion its always important to see what fits me well. Is it the GSA with low km as i want to travel a lot with it or is it myabe the GSA that is younger but has more km as i dont drive so much with it.
@@majestix_adv yeah it has Low miles around 7160 miles but BMW gsa gives 3 years and 36000 miles of warranty if I purchase 2016 I cannot purchase extended warranty there is a grace period like the motorcycle should be within 36 months to have extended warranty.. Anyways I would only ride during summer we have winter days ..But I love to do long tours with GSA .. not sure if it worth to keep it for a longer time
@@shajum.k8316 ok so its a low km bike then i can say it can only be that suspension gets an issue over time even its low on miles everything else should be fine... i would insist they do a new service new tyres on it then its ready to go ;) you can ride it and sell again ;) if price is right now. Its a hard time to sell bikes so maybe they go lower to
cool bike. I'll do that with my R1100RS.
@@AnalogDude_ oh really with a difrent frame?
@@majestix_adv nah, just standard but i do use GS final drive (gear set) to get 6% more torque vs 6% less top speed and GS mud guard. 6 speed hydraulic clutch gearbox from R1150RS and swing. Telelever swing arm from R1150 Rockster. I do need to use the R1150RS back frame to do this.

ECU fault could be a number of things but it looks like the bike is riding ok so PROBABLY it's fine for a test ride... I'd probably not BUY that bike if it's already throwing codes... KTM reliability seems to vary and bikes that have problems sometimes have LOTS of problems, friday bikes or something like that. The bike is not really an enduro... more like a good base platform for building a lightweight ADV bike. I've had minor issues with my 2021 but nothing major in 50k km. (about 60% dirt/40% pavement) as for alternatives... AJP PR7 is the only one that comes to mind, and now the Ducati if you put dirt tires on it. 500exc is definitely better offroad but is terrible on pavement so it depends on what kind of riding you like to do. This bike really is for mixed use (and IMO piling on the km's)
@@kuhndj67 yeah it was riding fine, it was a fault c9nnected to the quickshifter so they told me just ride it. Yes the bike is something between a 500exc and a 890 adv, for long trips onroad its not great from seating but better then the exc. Offroad its lighter then the 890adv so not so skilled person has it lighter to go on some adventure :)
I bought myself a BMW R1300GS option 719 this year. When I found out that they added this option, I was surprised. This upset me, I thought I bought a motorcycle with all the available options ;) I’m also surprised by how my motorcycle changes gears in cruise control without this option (ASA), isn’t this the same principle?
@@Ma4etaSS you mean your quickshifter? Your GS is for sure not changing the gears by itself ;) as it dont has ASA
@@majestix_adv I was driving on cruise control at a speed of 140 km per hour, in 6th gear you would think it was an automatic transmission. 😂
Mechanics are for the soul, I like to keep the engine speed and brake with the engine in the city.
really a great bike
I love this bike Had the 2020 Lost it when I was take out by a VW Van while traversing a roundabout Replaced with the bigger GS Then sold it after a year of proving to myself I had no inhibitions about riding and now have a new 2023 Triple black fully loaded all options + a few Options 719 🤟 Hey.. ended up with The 100Th Anniversary bike … Life’s Good and she delivers ✨
@@paulguthenberg364 veryyy great have fun :)))
Cracking good video mate, well done!
Thank you! :)
Since HP2 enduros are harder to find, can you use an HP2 megamoto with off road tires instead? I'm talking about trails, not hard -core stuff...Although is has less suspension travel, isn't it mostly the same bike? I think a megamoto would still be 100 pounds lighter than a GS, and easier to handle off-road, correct?
Yes the Megamoto can be used, frame and so on is same. So difrent forks and rear damper with difrent wheels and go for it.
Back in the 1970's my brother put me on his minni bike, and I was hooked. 50 years of experience now. Still like to ride all the time. 😊
Very cool i think it allways starts somehow because of someone ^^
I’d like to hear your comments on the Spirit of riding and how it has progressed through an age of popular technology added to the machines. I’ve just returned from Zurich and see Scooters which typically are more basic popular in commuting and taking less space to park - they to me celebrate more of what we are missing Danks
Thats a good point to speak about! Thank you i will add this to my video list 😀
Beautiful bike, nice video. Great advantage; shaftdrive!!! 👌🏻💪🏻👍🏻😍
Hp2 enduro old but gold 😂

Great bike and review! Would you be able to do a ride review to give us more insight into how it handles in the twisties and it's wheelie ability?
Yes for sure 😀
Fast & furious 🫶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
👍 Thx 😀
great chassis design. but some elect things still not perfect.and radar design not good looking. hope the ADV WILL be nice
Very good, honest, balanced and unbiased review. I fully agree with some of your observations especially on plastic gear shift lever, crash bar mounting on engine, and exposed frame that would be easily scratched when riding off-road. I know they have different models for more off-road oriented riding which provide enduro gear and brake levers but other issues are still there. I think the other issues can and will be fixed with software updates but for the amount of money you pay for these machines you would hope you get better gear even on the base models.
Thank you very much 😀 Yes i agree, but thats normal with bmw that you need to upgrade it to get a more offroad orientation bike 😉
Hi, thank you for the video. I do feel the smoothness touch of the clutch lever, but I could easily identify the friction zone on mine. But you’re right about the panniers. BMW is facing a problem with it and it’s not solved yet. Things, unfortunately, that happen all the time when a manufacturer launches an entirely new bike. There are always some niggles to take care of. Overall the bike is a superb machine. Though I would appreciate if they have put the retro illuminated buttons. It’s a premium feature that is lacking on a premium bike. BMW should have taken care of it from the scratch of this 1300 GS, no doubts about that 👍🏻
Hi Thank you for the comment :) Yeah thats true but i can say its not a big deal what has happened till now. I wouldnt known a GSs had an engine blown or something so they show still to be reaible, and the small issues that anoy some people yeah they are here but be happy and ride it :)
very nice video . would u know when the gsa coming out?
Thank you! It could be in garmisch but production will start after summer brake when bmw changes the production line from the old 1250gsa to the new gsa
@@majestix_adv great , cant wait to see it...
when i first saw one , i was very disappointed with the brake pedal and the gear lever looking very cheap ..i never liked the vario luggage and have removed all the mounts and put aluminium hard luggage on mine …i think also the switchgear and menu system could be better , why not illuminated ?(im hoping it will be on the new GSA and maybe retro fit )the seats look great but seem to mark very easily …i would also of liked a separate rear daylight running/brake light , not integrated into the turn signals…..all minor points but loving mine
Thank you you have good points too 😊
very competent your review, Thank you Krystian!
Much appreciated!
Yes, if you don't like innovations, it's better to keep riding your old trusted R1250GS. If you want to trade in your motorcycle for a new one, I would go for the R1300GS
Thats a good conclusion :)
i picked up mine yday ..you are thinking wrong about the adaptive height suspension ..i had the previous 1250GS and it was always awkward getting my leg over the bike because of the passenger seat height and even worse with the panniers on , now the 1300 with the adaptive height control sits a lot lower when stopped and its very easy to get on and off even with a full set of panniers on ..and thats why i paid for it , not to tick all the boxes on the options list ..i think mine feels heavier than previous model to push round the garage as well ..good review by the way ..
@@gerryryan2302 thank you! Thats a nice point i havnt had in mind at that time. Have fun with your new bike :)
So its good bike for everyday ? Do you think better than s1000r?
Riding position is a bit less sporty on the 1250r so yes, also kardan means no need to worry about the chain. Torque is higher and lower so you can ride in higher gear

Great Video! Is it top heavy like a T7? What do you think. 14 Liters fuel? Thats a joke?
Servus Konrad :) So from my feeling and impressions its not so top heavy like the T7 it also feels better in standing and seating positiin to me, as the setupe sutes me better. Dont get me wronge tge T7 is a great bike and from Price/performance the better bike, but i didnt felt so fast comfotable on the T7 like on the GS and i was expecting from the f900gs really nothing or not really a competition for the 890r or T7 or DesertX. So i can really say its a great bike and best offroader since over 10years from BMW!
Bellissimo vedere la tua tecnica, complimenti! Mi domando solo se questa moto non meriti un po più rispetto. A me piangerebbe il cuore anche se sono d'accordo sull'utilizzo in off
