I dont like this Fantaghiro 5 series. Why Fantaghiro can easily forget her hometown and her love Romualdo so easily, even when her memories had been given back. Fantaghiro had already swore her love for Romualdo in series 4. She even said even if Romualdi is dead, her love will never ended. But in this series 5, Fantaghiro can easily betray her love with Romualdo. How can she easily love a stranger she just met, rather than Romualdo whom she had sacrificed fighting for him for years? For me, Fantaghiro will be until Series 4. Fantaghiro 5 is not a Fantaghiro series for me.

The 5th episode doesn’t make for a good ending as it was supposed to be the beginning of three more episodes. Kim Rossi Stuart (Romualdo) was supposed to be in it, but refused as he didn’t want his image of an actor to be connected too much to one character at the beginning of his career. So they ended up making this episode without him and then canceling the other two. In any case this episode was not supposed to represent the ending and Romualdo was not supposed to be eliminated. I suppose we should just pretend the story of Fantaghirò ends with the 4th episode, (which is a great episode), and enjoy the 5th for what it is, without asking too many questions :)
