I saw a flood far worse than that in Crickhowell. They had built a Bailey bridge a few metre upstream of the stone bridge, as they deemed the stone bridge unsafe for modern traffic. The floods came and severely damaged the Bailey bridge due to the amount of trees and other debry coming down the river Usk. But the stone bridge remained strong. My dad had the job of clearing the trees piled up against the stone bridge. I remember seeing a picture in the papers of him hanging of ropes over the side of the bridge, Glanusk side standing on the trees and cutting them into small enough pieces to be allowed to flow down stream. If anyone has the pictures either from personal collections or from press releases I would love to see them.

Hi Martin. You may already have had the question answered but this is definitely at Rochdale Hornets Rugby ground - with the stock cars promoted by Mike Parker Promotions. The cars in the film are likely to be the 'Hell Drivers' formula, which I'm pretty sure were specific to Mike Parker tracks. I was a regular visitor to the track to watch Brisca F1 meetings in the 70s/80s. Hope this helps.

That said this activist head teacher must be a very important person for doing their job to have a statue done of them all but not well done in likeness.

Ok can I just say how much I appreciate the Swansea Quadrant Bus Station compared to many of the other ones in Wales, The Bus Station is amazing, Love just sitting in there watching the Screen displays and the buses coming and going as they go around the area and further afield. Amazing. And also I love that Swansea Has Double Decker Buses too.

Love Skipton - Have really fond memories of this beautiful small town ! - First went as a child our uncle john would take us on a weekend - He reslly loved the spot - As I got older I met a young lady - We both worked on the same ward & she used to go clay pigeon shooting on a farm near there - We would meet there regularly on our days off - I would take my kiddies there as often would allow ? - And now its a prime spot to go with my Son & Daughters & My Grandchildren ! - Skipton Castle - Beautiful Church Were my boozing buddy Got married - Market days - Farmers days & of course the ever popular Boating festivals ! Cannot wait to get over there again ? Been sheilding for nearly 18 months ! Great video thanks for sharing !
