The Pet Store guy reminds me of a pet store owner we had in town when I was a kid growing up. The guy would sell anything he could get his hands on. He had this giant ass parrot that hung out at the front of the store that would fly around and curse at people. At one point he was selling baby alligators and he just kept them in a 100 gallon fish tank at the front of the store when you walked in. He'd also let kids feed the snakes and stuff. I heard rumors that he was also hosting dog fights and honestly, given the time, how shady the guy was and the area I was in I don't doubt it.

When I was in school by the 5th grade if my teacher didn't give us time to do homework I didn't do it. If they gave me enough time to do a report or project in school I never had a problem. When I was in high school I had a math teacher that would give us 200 problems for homework after every class and I refused to do it. You might be able to make me come to class but I'm not wasting my time doing math I'll never use. My senior year I turned 18 and found out I could literally call myself out of school. Really coasted by that year. Graduated on a D- average. I have still yet to encounter a job where my employer asks me to solve an unknown variable. I am sure there are plenty of jobs out there that do, I just hated math so much I knew I'd never need it in that capacity.
