You can use it in mob farms instead of trapdoors, coral fans are much better then trapdoors in mob farms And you can use it to design your base

@@AdepCraft Well, now. That worked!! This could explain why some of the other things I've tried don't work properly, too. But this is working great now!! It took forever to find a good spot of land and then clear it out. Thanks for the quick reply.

I left and the contraption broke the sand by the time I came back. I'll replace the sand and the kelp and turn it off before I walk away, since I need to be there anyway for it to produce anything. Maybe that will prevent it from happening again... EDIT: That was the secret. This thing works great!!!

Make sure that the mob spawning option is turned on. There should be no caves around the farm because it is possible that the Iron Golem will spawn there.No villager with green clothes or villager child should be inside the farm and at least 150 blocks away from the nearest village

@@KoenigNoctis If you build near a village, you can first destroy all the beds inside the village, and if it still doesn't work, you can move the villagers away from the iron farm or kill them.

If we build these types of farms that are made for mobs at lower altitudes, when we are in the farm, mobs will spawn in the surrounding caves and at night, which makes the farm slow down.
