Hello Alex, Thank you for this great video! It’s very informative! I’d like to ask a couple of questions if that’s okay. I’m failing new to this, so I hope my questions will make sense to you. 1. For app protection policies, do we need to have separate policies for iOS/iPadOS and Android, or a single policy can be applied to both device users? My concern is that I have all the users in one Entra Group, and I don’t know how it’d work if I assign two policies to the same group. 2. Can more than one Conditional Access policy be applied to the same group for BYOD? I’m thinking of device restrictions as well as device cleanup rules for devices that have not checked in for a certain number of days. Thank you and appreciate it!
The main issue i have with Microsoft 365 Lighthouse, is the silly limit of only being able to manage customer tenants with 2500 licensed users or fewer. Why? who knows. Microsoft and our License partner sure hasn't been able to answer us (though we haven't asked them to dig to much in it yet). We were promised that it would increase to 5000 users, but that is still far away from where we need it.
what will happen if a user also used Outlook(or other microsoft apps) with his private mail and also want to use corporate email?
Is setting up Hybrid Entra ID with on Prim Domain required to utilize Intune on on Prim computers/laptops? Or an Intune be deployed without setting up Entra ID connect?

Hi Alex, Thanks for the detailed explanation. I spoke with one of the GlassPaper Support Agents and he asked to provide him a "MPN ID". What do they need it for? Do I get the bill or does my company gets the bill for the lab? TIA! Joe

Hello! Does this work so as to prevent users from using the downloaded gmail app but rather use the approved gmail app in InTune?

Great video. I’ve successfully limited access to O365 through browser and successfully blocked downloads following your advice. Cut/Copy/Paste still works from the browser - how do I block that too? Thanks!
i did the same settings, but i am still able to sign in with third party apps like mail app (iphone) and the policy not yet forcing the users app protection like it asked me to setup PIN code but i still can copy data from corp app to other apps! how long the policy need to be fully replicated?
Alex, de connectie is gelukt. Maar ik had al op beide plaatsen dezelfde gebruiker staan, onpremise - de gebruiker in AD, Entra- de gebruiker e-mail/teams e.d. Na dde connectie heb ik nu twee gebruikers in Entra met dezelfde naam. eentje is geconnected met de onpremise omgeving en de andere bestond al in Entra is heeft de e-mailbox e.d. Wat deed ik fout? Hoe kan ik ervoor zorgen dat beide "gebruikers" één worden. alvast bedankt. en tot 6 juni bij DSD. ps Alex, als ik via LinkedIN met jou wil communiceren heb ik Premium nodig , bij andere is dat niet. Heb jij dat zo ingesteld of zo?

Hoi Alex, ik zie dat dit alle delen waren voor SC-900, waarvoor mijn dank. Veel studenten zijn blij met de NL-versie van jou. Je had echter ook een scherm in beeld, met daarin vervolgdelen. Maar die zie ik nergens. SC-900 NL topics stond er boven de pagina en bestond uit 22 delen. Ik zie er echter meer Office 365 staan en ARM. Heb je die ook nog ergens soms ? Ik hoor het graag van je. Bedankt voor de verhelderende info in NL.
I have a scenario thats difficult to resolve with this, at least I havent found an answer. If we have unsanctioned applications as a default but we need an exception, we have to create tags. e.g. a specific user has access to wetransfer. That works fine, but if they need access to another service e.g. dropbox you cannot apply both tags to that user/device you have to create a NEW tag that encompasses both requirements. This means managing exceptions becomes exponential depending on the combinations of resources that specific individuals may need. Administrative nightmare. Are you aware of any simple way to provide exceptions? it was much easier in sophos
Hi. I am unable to install intune on my android tablet. It runs but pops up a message "Couldn't add your device. Your organization hasnt setup device administration privileges in their tenant. Contact your company support for help." Incident ID is 7SHTMME9. I spoke to my company's IT department and they said to check with google enterprise on compatibility issue. My device is a Lenovo android tablet xiaoxin pad pro 2022. Model is TB138FC

Thank you, Alex! Amazing video! I followed your tutorial and it worked. However, I have an issue viewing PDF files in Outlook Web. When you click a PDF attachment, it automatically downloads it (blocked). Can you suggest any solution for this? Thanks a lot!

Thanks for this. Brilliant for Admin roles. Is there a way we could leverage PIM to delegate access on behald of another user as a role? E.g. EA on behalf of CEO? (or anything else within Microsoft universe)?
When you connect to Entra ID using your admin account, will it lose connection if the PW is changed for the admin account? Or will the sync still function?
We have implemented Compliance Policy, App Protection Policy, Apple MDM Push cert and Conditional Access Policy that "Require Compliant device" to access Office 365. Situation is: users are already using M365 apps. Seems like the MDM enrollment is not being triggered because iOS users can continually use the Teams and Outlook even though they are not yet-MDM-enabled.
