I agree it is self cleaning, and that does work for a long time. At the point you start getting film, scales, and other debris in your water sometimes these water coolers need an occasional deeper cleaning.

There may be that much film in there. Also if the water that you are cleaning it with has alot of chlorine, lime, etc in it then it could be getting in the machine as you clean it. Maybe try it one time with 2 gallons of filtered water from the grocery store and see if it lessens the white film.

I did that too the first few times, if it keeps popping out I have another video that shows how to add some support to the disc so it stays in place. I do some light mountain biking with these so rougher rides will cause the disc to pop out more often. ua-cam.com/video/obxf6aeGCvs/v-deo.html

That magnetic wheel may be spinning and not staying stationary. You can secure it with a zip tie or bread tie in a few places. I will try to make a video to show it.

Thanks Mox, I will work on getting divot in front of ball and for the past 30 years I have battled with going outside in. I will focus on keeping arms closer to my body at the range today.

You are welcome. They are both good in their own respects. The Artic Zone opens easily so great to set in a passenger seat on a road trip. The same easy open makes it bad around kids because they will constantly open your cooler. The RTIC is hard to open and takes 2 hands which has made it a better option on the boat to keep the kids out of the cooler.

Thanks for the comment. Im not sure mine came with Velcros. Maybe they added it to the product after this video was made. I looked back at where I had the pieces sorted out on the video and I did not see any velcro included in my package.

Maybe so, I didn't get close enough to stir him just used zoom on my camera. It was a couple years ago and a cold front moved in dropping the temperature quickly in a few hours. He looks like he was frozen in place, but I did not see indication he was injured or dead. Just not warm enough to move along.

I used ours this weekend on the lake. Still a good cooler after a few years. Amazon sometimes has the ones that people returned in "like new" condition for decent prices too.
