Nonstop POMPANO Action - POMPANO LIMIT
This was our last day fishing Pompano season 2024! We had a few days just before this where we kept getting skunked at the beach with little to no Pompano action so this was an awesome way to cap off our season. Can't wait til next year! Thanks for watching and happy fishing!

    Must be the east coast of Fla. - super successful gear set-up but it's unfortunate you can't catch them closer to shore on lighter rods..I tear them up on the Gulf side with 7' medium-lite spinning rods off the surf...a 3 lb Pomp sure puts up a fight. Great video, keep catching them!

      Its definitely a different experience with the big rods.

    Hey, nice vid, I am learning to do just that :) How did you guys choose a spot? The water seems to be completely featureless around you, so all those thing they say about "reading the surf" do not seem to apply.

      We were fishing between two sand bars, hard to see in the video. Some beaches it matters more than others

    I just discovered your channel and it's making me nostalgic. You sir are putting out gold. Your videos are entertaining and crammed with great information. I used to fish those beaches regularly but had to stop surf fishing due to a shoulder injury. I remember that the fleas disappeared due to the beach renourishment. Are you importing your fleas from other beaches or are you getting them at night? I didn't see a rake in your gear.

      Thanks for the comment. I always try to get fleas a day or two before I go fishing. They have been tough to find for a while now.

    When you tied the double uni knot was that for weight side of the looper rig, and what is your recommended length?

    • @chasinthebite
      @chasinthebite Рік тому

      The double uni was attaching the rig to the main line. I attach the sinker with a duo lock to the third loop

    Curious of all the pvc on the cart. Are those rod holders or they keep your rods taller while in the cart

    • @chasinthebite

      The long ones are my sand spikes. The short u-shaped pieces I use to lay the rods in while I am walking down the beach. That way I can walk under everybody's lines. you can see it in action here ua-cam.com/video/EyQnTCvEqxE/v-deo.html
