Speak for yourself. I didn't upgrade to the S24U because of the flat screen I have that when I put S23U in a case. Not that appealing. S23U feels great outside the case in my hand. That new design does nothing for me. Neither does all the AI crapware onboard starting with the chip. Not something I would want to buy.

i bought s24u a little while ago, but it was just recently i saw that the camera quality of my gf's s21 was alot better than mine. i was hesitant buying this phone, but did it just for the camera, and now i see that it was not wort the upgrade from my s22u, i contacted samsung support and they said that i didnt know how to use it, that i should use pro mode and a tripod to get better photos. if this was the case i could just bring my proffesional gear everywhere! and i am not within the timeframe to return the phone either. so now i am stuck with a worse phone than before when i just paid more for an upgrade.....

yeah that's why Samsung has some parts still from the S20 series till now, while the chinese brands are way ahead or why Samsung's design hasn't really changed since the S22 Ultra or why the Samsung mid rangers or FE looks almost like the premium S-series c'mon Sammy..if you wanna stand out, you go for the Nothing Phone or for a foldable like Honor Magic V3 or for OnePlus 13 etc

I think buying phone is more then just how it looks, but more if it reliable, Samsung might have more flashy designs and gimmicks, but at its core functionality and quality it fails.
