Make sure you are on City Water!!! and Natural gas, NO Propane If you fail to follow this rule be prepared to pay monthly private water $1000. per month and same for Propane $1000.00 per month. Oh you don't believe it. Go ring bells in Green Shores On Lake Austin. Right off of Pierce Rd. and 2222. Lot of pit falls in Austin. Buyer Beware.

Just a heads up Georgetown is expected to face IMMENSE water supply issues the the next 5-10 years. Very serious thing to consider, look into it if you’re interested in that area.

Good day Aubrey. i have some tough questions. my family and i are trying to relocate to Texas. we are trying to find a place in Dallas TX. Between Austin and Dallas Which one would be a good place for a family of six, who love the outdoors and camp and are big into sports. My wife is a RN nurse and i have been in the Automotive industry for over 20years. The best suburbs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You should mention the different tax rates and HOA fees. Can make a big difference in total budget. Lake Pointe is great for both and has been a great neighborhood for us.

That Brodie Oaks project i(#2) s right on top of the Jewel of Austin; Barton Springs. This will be an ecological disaster and meet with lots of local resistance. Look for this to be delayed for a very long time, if it happens at all. This is a spiteful project engineered to outrage the traditional environmental community that has been the hallmark of Austin; pre-tech bro invasion. Y’all left California cause overpopulation is screwing everything up, so why are you so infatuated with these type of Austin Screwing projects. Quit buying into the destruction of our natural habitat and quit romanticizing this blind capitalist vision of Austin as a Mecca for people that care. If they did care, they would see the hypocrisy of fleeing rampant homelessness, traffic jams and the displacement of the working poor only to inflict those same problems on Austin. Stop already. Stay where you are and solve your problems. Quit ruining our city. Folks are already leaving because it is over 100 degrees half the year, there is NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION and once you’ve been to a club a few times, meh… Remember that phrase “Nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live here.” That’s Austin in a nutshell. I wouldn’t even move here, if I didn’t already live here.

Uuuggghhhh……. We need public transportation. All these new developments will make it expensive to park. They’ve ruined the areas around Zilker park. It used to be free to park there and easy to access the park and events. So with all this new big city development we need public transportation.

When will Uptown ATX open? There doesn't seem to be any construction movement as of Dec 2024.

Any investor who wants to do mix use has my support! If every place was mixed use, the need for cars would go wayyyyyyyy down I lived in singapore for about half a year, no need for car, just walk 75% of places, Bus 20% and train the other 5%!

Austin is a" used to be city " that has seen it's day and is now in a fast decline. Sad.

The infrastructure just isn't there mopac is heavily congested even with the addition of the toll road, all this is going to do is increase traffic congestion on 35, 183 and mopac, a lot of big tech companies are leaving or have left Austin. Austin also has a hard enough time filling blue collar roles adding more commercial building is only going to delay these projects even more and leave a bigger eyesore in the domain area. Austin is still catching up from the covid years and isn't going to catch up in time.

There needs to be more development of public transportation as well as low to moderate income housing. Austin has become very expensive to live and operate.

Million square feet of new office space in south Austin? Good luck getting tenants to occupy those. Several companies like Meta have already backed out of these large office projects.

I love it here in Austin. I lived in Dallas. I like it here a lot more.
