Hello guys! Got my type R back from Honda and a new transmission was installed! was definitely a long process but I am glad it is finally resolved, just updating everyone on the status of the type R currently, sorry for the delay in updates! if you guys have any questions or comments feel free to ask! and as always follow the socials!

Installed Megan ball joints upfront for camber / installed 18x10.5 et 35 Endless Forged with 285/30 continentals! love how it came out. Showing in the video how partially the process went for one side of the camber joints! Any questions feel free to ask! This video is not a full tutorial, but I will gladly answer questions about the install!

Hey guys, Finally received my steering wheel after the month and some change wait, carbon fiber with LED shift indicators / plus more settings, tried to show my process of installing it in a Civic Type R since I have yet to see anyone install this on a Type R! how did you get the steering wheel to power at the end? I have the wheel on my car already but only ground wire in, I just plugged the OEM horn back for now. no power to the steering wheel. please give me some guidance. thanks
I explained it in video at a little over 6minutes in, you have to run two wires off the wiring, not just a ground.

Hey brotha. Greta video! I had a question about your fitment. I’m also looking at going aggressive with the fitment like you did. I have the front camber ball joints and rear camber arms. Lowered on swift springs. If I go with the same wheel specs as you, can I get the wheels to fit with -3 camber all around?
Its going to be pretty tight, you may want to run 275 instead if you want to run less camber, if i wouldnt do -4.4 the way it is right now id rub pretty rough, although i havent done any cutting of any sort

Megan front ball joints, including removal of top pins on the strut mounts under the hood, and also, the truhart rear camber arms, perfectly matching -4.4 front and rear and perfect toe, drives excellent

Yes sir! Height adjustment and throw adjustments, and both are great options, I'm extremely happy with it over the stock setup, it is truly as they say, night and day difference

Really not bad though, definitely an interesting suspension design but shoot I'd say now knowing how to do it, would be done in less than a hour next time! Good luck on yours!
Changed mine recently , had the same issues on the left front and way easier on the right front , was a pain in the ass but got there in the end 😂

Hey bro, what springs you have on the car and hows the ride?
Megan springs, the ride to me hasn't changed really at all, it feels great in my opinion, not crazy stiff and not bouncy, I also changed tires to 255/30 and it's way smoother now

Ensure front lip has reinforcement strut rods 250 kph+ will cause the lip to come undone , and 280+ will likely cause it to tear clean off

I had a chance to get a FK8 Type R...but decided to get an FG4 Si instead 😊

That’s sick bro congrats. What’s your thought process on buying performance cars 2nd/3rd hand? Can’t afford these new cars nowadays, but would love to get my hands on a used gr86 or type r.
appreciate that! and my personal opinion, don't buy one that is modified and if you're mechanically inclined you can visual tell by inspecting some things if someone's messed with it before hand, and best thing in addition is finding one with a warranty included by the dealer, not a aftermarket warranty per say, but for example if it is sold at Honda, make sure its a Certified at the minimum! but these cars are a blast!

Also depending on your milage you will need to do a walnut blast on intake valves. I at the same time replaced intake manifold cuz they a notorious for problems email me mmorello1205@gmail.com And ill show you after 100,000 miles what intake valves look like. After I did walnut blast omg it was night and day. Pcpc
Hey I have 14 vw jetta 1.8t mk6 ea888 auto with jb4 map 6 running 17psi at 4500rpm. I have all mods your talking about as well except few things. I had same issue, but bucking hesitation ect. Check jb4 firmware. One day I changed firmware and the car did not like it. I had to go back to jb1 for months thinking it was my car. I went back to old firmware 60/65/5. And walla no problems. So maybe its that.
What mods do you need to jump into a JB4? I have a gen3 autobahn but I don’t know crap about jb4 only other tunes like unitronic etc
