Alaska Cruise Day 6 - Ketchikan
A lovely and brief excursion through the charming town of Ketchikan, the first town in Alaska. Even on a rainy day, we enjoyed a quick walk through downtown and a stroll along Creek Street.

Although I have lived in Bay Area for over 20 years, there are still many places I haven't visited. When G had one day off, we decided to spend the day exploring the city by BART, bus and foot. The summer weather was gorgeous. We had a really fun and memorable day. 儘管住在灣區20多年，我還有很多地方沒有去過。乘乖放一天假，我們徒步，乘地鐵公車游玩舊金山。初夏的天氣真好。我們一天玩得很開心。

新年我們在環球影城度過。聽説人很多排隊很久，但是感覺還好，只有 Mario 排得比較久。經驗是早去，一進門就直奔熱門景點，上午通常都不會等太久。票一定要提前買，可以在官網買，也可以在 Guide Your Trip APP 買。環球影城 APP 不覺得有必要下載，沒啥用，每個 Ride 前都可以看到排隊時間。雖然有些 Ride 之前就玩過，還是覺得好玩。有些 Ride 增加了很多高科技含量，更有體驗感。只是年紀大，過於驚險的不敢玩了。 We spent New Year at Universal Studio Hollywood. 聖地亞哥第二天的行程是去了海港村和 Coronado 島。海港村是一個娛樂購物的商圈，有很多有趣的小店鋪，還有餐廳。附件就是中途島博物館。我們還看到了著名的“無條件投降”雕塑。 下午去了 Coronado 島，雖然稱作“島”，其實是半島。我們看到了歷史悠久的 Hotel del Coronado。這個旅館歷史悠久，外形確實非常美麗，裏面的大堂略顯狹小，也許是當時的風格。電梯居然是原裝的，一百多年都沒有更換，應該是 Otis 最早建造的一批了，可見質量過硬。 晚上來到了聖地亞哥老城，這裏是加州的發源地，有許多博物館，展示調查歐洲人來到這裏生活的情形，應該很有趣。可惜我們沒有時間停留了，只在老城區享用了美味的墨西哥食物。期待下次再來。 On the second day in San Diego, we visited Seaport Village and Coronado Islan...
