The first phase of the final boss sounds so epic and emotional that it brings a tear down my (left/right) eye! It sounds fuckin’ amazing. Oh and I just got this game from Steam recently. Man, I wish this game had a port on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Wow. I could not pull off some of those combos in Stages 3, 5, and 6, but that scoring scheme with Scutum really takes the cake.

Very impressive video. I've beaten Reflex, but not on one credit. I like your strategy for the third part of the Cancer boss fight. I never would have thought you could go right next to him and shoot the missiles when he's sitting at the bottom and then reflect the blue lasers back at him for extra damage. I usually just go to the top and reflect the lasers to nullify the missiles. Your way kills him much faster. Good job. That's the thing I love about Reflex. It looks like a standard shooter at first, but if you learn how everything works, then there are lots of ways to take out bosses. Some better than others. For example, I had no idea you could kill the final boss so early on (as you did). I usually drag it out much longer and I end up being forced to trade lives for damage against him since the final boss gets so crazy hard after a while. Once again thanks for the amazing video. Reflex is probably my favorite shooter of all time, and that's saying something since I've been playing shooters since the days of the Atari.
