How can Phelps even have the nerve to appear in a video alongside the Gonz and be made to look even more fucking miserable than people knew he was anyway. Gonz is international treasure, artist, creative genius, skateboard legend, free thinker, adventurer, child and good spirit. Phelps = moody git.
know your history and don't be so quick to judge. Phelps may be moody, but he has transformed Thrasher Magazine into the most important skate magazine out there. He puts everything into it, so fuck it if he seems grumpy.

i just found an interview of phelps in a little Berlin,germany underground zine from 09 where he is asked about his relationship with gonz and he stated something like that they have been close friends for more than 20 years. i guess phelps is just joking with him. you know. jake is not like everyone else. he is fucked. just look at his face. whe i met him in 09 here in berlin i asked him for a photo and he told me that i should go fuck myself. acutally i think its pretty sick. but i was 15 back then so i dont know haha
