It's nice to see someone enjoy this game as much as me. The hate for this game eludes me; I tried to see it from their perspective (the repeating mission locations etc) but It hasn't been a problem for me... it hasn't effected my enjoyment of it. I also feel like this is the first Bethesda game where the radiant quests actually feel right. In Skyrim and Fallout I felt like a chump doing pointless errands for low rewards but in Starfield when I take a cargo hauling job I actually feel like a Space Trucker and if I take a bounty mission I feel like an actual Bounty Hunter... it's just hard to explain why it works this time but... it does... least that's how I feel.

First and foremost I want games that run well, If they can't provide that I don't care about any of the other distractions from my core requirement.

Robocop is amazing. Ivs beaten it twice and thinking of another playthrough. I felt the same way about the clunkiness when I realized thats how they wanted him to move.

You CAN stab him slower, by upgrading the Crucible with higher damage and lower swing speed. Boost its DPS up to max, and feel the weight of crushing Ron Hope with the Power/Heavy Attack thrust. Also, Christmas Surprise! Kinggath Creations hid a "Slayer Skin" for the Constellation Boostpack, from the Main Story, which matches the Praetor Suit. Enjoy killing Ron Hope again, with the full Praetor Set in your next Unity.

I don't feel strong enough emotions about the game to hate Ron Hope, but he's definitely one of my least liked characters in the game. He's almost as annoying as players who think they're becoming like The Hunter after playing through the game for the umpteenth time because the fact that Bethesda didn't create any more significant content beyond the original loop means that every alternate universe is identical and the obvious lack of realism causes them to start losing their suspension of disbelief, and then they somehow interpret this them losing their empathy or something.

And every time he talks, I look around trying to find that city guard from Oblivion... 😅

Actually I mostly let him go, since I recognize that he provides employment for a whole planet and the people working for him seem to like him. Personally I think Benjamin Bayu from Neon is much worse, but unfortunately we can't kill him.

Hope is bad, but he's only the third worst Space Capitalist in the game. At least he cares about his employees, which is damning by faint praise but still better than the two most punchable faces in Starfield imo: Ularu Chen and Lucas Drexler. Drexler engages in illegal human trials that kill 5 test subjects and lies to the doctors in the trial saying its receiving authorization (its not). He also commits murder for hire on an entire mining station that was hired by Ryujin to steal their Rothicite for said illegal trials. He's also so cheap their offices in New Atlantis are clearly not being cleaned and dialogue mentions their air conditioning is on the verge of failing, and for your birthday you get Chunks cake. Not even a real cake, Chunks Cake. And as bad as Drexler is, he's being manipulated by the real villain, Ularu Chen. Chen wants Ryujin to go full evil corporation by inventing mind control technology and committing murder. She uses said mind control tech's prototype on her own protege Imogene Salzo to use her to leak the mind control tech prototype (the thing Drexler was engage in illegal trials on, when Ryujin is doing it properly on the books by said tech's own creator despite the other ethical issues) to Drexler so he will be caught in corporate espionage as part of her plan to oust the current CEO to take her job. Her reasoning? Masako is weak for *not* authorizing murder as a valid tool. Hell, the reason Masako authorized the Internal Neuroamp project was to further reduce potential life loss in Operations, as misguided as that was. Ularu just wants to murder people to stay on top. And unlike Hope, I only have to go a mission and a half before Im allowed to kill her (despite the game not saying so). Yes, unlike Hope, I dont have to finish the storyline to ruin her life, I just need to get the evidence and then they let me kill her, and even mechanically rewards me for doing it later on in the questline.

One of many reasons I wish sending people out the airlock was an option, for me it'd be a qol update - unless I get sent out into space. There is mods to let you walk out in space, why not airlock people removal, you can jettison cargo..

One time it happened to me at a public bathroom when I was taking a shit I didn't forget to lock the stall door of the bathroom just I had problems trying to lock it so the door remained closed but unlocked and some guy walked in on me while I was taking a shit I didn't say anything he didn't say anything either but he closed the stall door and left

I agree. And add to that the ability to enjoy a game that you can just drop in and drop out, fresh start every time, nothing to catch up on, easy fun, especially for those gamers that are not sweats and not chasing rewards.

I feel the same way, I feel like 99% of the mods are trying to make Starfield into a different game. And that’s why I haven’t downloaded any mods. (I’m tired of all the Star Wars mods)

Anyone else only able to enable like 8 achievement friendly mods max?

Mike and DWayne, as a 40 year old gamer who started with an NES, I love hearing you guys talk starfield. I too only got into mods once they were achievement friendly.

Starfield has random stuff that you might only discover after hundreds of hours, like the derelict ship with the alien inside, the mansion of the crime lord than got killed by the Crimson Fleet, the A.I. ship etc.

Bethesda delivered. I am happy with the game as it is. I would have been more happy though, if we could land on planets, hover over the surface with our ships and select the landing spot like in No Man's Sky. But maybe this comes later, because the game engine would actually permit it.

So. At launch or soon after, we had a list of stuff. And we knew delivering all that stuff would take roughly about a year. And as the stuff dropped in updates over time, hey, that was exciting. And that excitement kept a lot of folks engaged. But that's all over and done with now. So, folks want a new list of stuff. If there is a new list, share it with the folk so we'll stay engaged. If there is not a new list, then share that as well. So we can make a clean break and move on. Either way, ok. But saying nothing either way is clearly problematic. Maybe it's not problematic for everyone to be sure. But it is to enough. Just my two cents.

I assume you are active on forums/subs, could ask community if it is a good idea to advice bethesda to play no man sky and see if they could emulate some of thier updates?

I remember getting Allen wake for free with my Xbox 360. Great game and great times haha. I gotta play the remastered I have in my backlog soon
