"Why did God allow this": I was born with half my left forearm. I am convinced that God *allows* such events because He knows either the person has the ability to adapt, or needs to develop that ability. *Attitude is critical. If you think you have a new hobby, you will be fine. If you think you are crippled, you will be crippled* .

What a great video!! Do you mind asking me when this was filmed? Have you updated your prostheses at all or any adaptive equipment use such as in the shower?

Thanks for your question. I made the DVD when I was 50 years old. I did not update it the information is is still current. I selected to use 'body powered' prostheses as the myoelectric were not very advanced in in 1988. Plus I have mastered my prostheses and they worked best for me hobbies and my 45 years as and registered occupational therapy therapist. My current prostheses are just as current to day as they were 56 years ago. I am on my third set of my prostheses and I hope I will not need another set. I now need to use a sock aid to donn my socks and tuck in my shirt tails. I have adapted some of my tools so I can very independently enjoy my wood working hobby. I just discovered your comment on youtube. Best wishes.
