Hand Tools Only - Woodworking : Step Stool made from Ash Hard Wood
I wanted to make a durable small step stool for my daughter, using only hand tools. This step stool is made from ash with walnut wedges in the through mortise and tenon. I made it over a week working in my basement shop in the evenings. Yes, I need to fix my bench; it is moving a lot. My nice woodworking bench is outside, and I only use it during the day when the weather is nice... Making a new woodworking bench for my basement is my next project. You need a saw brace to get perfect cuts, hard to do by hand otherwise!

That bench is really moving.
Yeah, I'm going to make a new one soon. My good bench is outside (it won't fit in my basement), where I like to work during the day when the weather is nice.
The leafs will win the cup before those lo-res cat eyes fail.
As someone who was alive the last time they won..and still a Leaf fan...I'll take a Jonny Bench on this one for at least another 50 yrs. That stool looks great. The Leafs are still maturing.

Nice board, Have you tried angling the boards when you tape them together prior to the band saw cut? It may add another effect.

Really nice end result. How long did it take, given the number of glue-ups?
Thanks, I made this charcuterie board over 4 days working 1-2 hours at a time. I was able to do two glue up a day, giving the glue 8+ hours to dry.
The smile on her face makes it all worthwhile. Good Job!

@@jwar2163 I used a 6mm aluminum tube from Hornbach, a hardware store in The Netherlands.
