Red Sauce America is an online publication celebrating Italian American food and culture with interviews, essays, and reviews. Our channel features ASMR videos of various tomato sauces bubbling on the stove and in some cases includes links to relevant articles or recipes.

Béchamel sauce
This is the third sauce necessary for making spiral lasagna in the style of Don Angie. It's also an essential sauce for a traditional lasagna Bolognese.
5 Oz Butter
1 Quart Milk
salt
1/2 cup flour
1/4 ground parmigiana
Melt the butter. Stir in the flour. Mix. Slowly stir in the milk. Thicken over heat, and add salt and cheese. Note that cheese is not traditionally part of a Béchamel sauce, but is added here for a little extra flavor.
