Film Emulation shot on Lumix G80/G85 with Helios 44m-4
This was my first time trying out the Dehancer OFC plugin in Davinci Resolve!
Which was kind of hard tbh, I still have a lot to learn.
This test was shot on the Panasonic Lumix G80/G85
Lenses Used Helios 44m-4 on the Viltrox EF-M2II
and the SLR Magic 8mm
Shots on Helios are shot with a Variable ND.
I used the Dehancer OFX plugin within Davinci Resolve Studio 17 for the Film emulation.
This was my first week with this camera and lens combo and I'm quite pleased!
Cheers

It's weird I know lol, This is a short about being absent in your own body, the sort of autopilot idea. Also that the world you live in can be a dark weird strange place. Things can peak your interest, and things can just as easily be forgotten. Let me know what you guys think. This was weird and strange to make haha. It is also pretty old. This is just a re-upload. Love djoewe, Music: Shigeto ...

    In dehancer what input source did you use? Rec 709 or something else?

      Thanks man! It was a 30,- metal screw-on m42 to EF Adapter, and then a viltrox EF to MFT Speedbooster.❤

    Hello, what camera/colorspace did you select on the dehancer plugin menu? Did you put rec709 or did you select another color space?

      I used rec 709 as a starting point. But looking back now, I would not put so much of the filter over the footage.

    hello, awesome video. May I ask which of the two lenses did you use for the shot at 1:38? I'm wondering if the helios 44m-4 would be wide enough for a shot like this. Thanks.

    Great video! How is it that your able to screw on the m42 mount helios lens on the viltrox speed booster? Isn’t viltrox adspter for ef lenses to m43?

    • @djoewewalta483
      @djoewewalta483 2 роки тому

      Thanks! Yeah, I bought a screw on ring adapter for m42 to EF for like 15$ and then used it on the Viltrox to MFT!

    this is really really really really good! My only thoughts are that the grain is maybe a bit too exaggerated? just maybe drag down the intensity a bit and it'll look incredible!

    • @LYN4X
      @LYN4X 2 роки тому

      i know that we love the grain that is the signature film look, but it just felt like it was a bit too much, just drag it down a tiny tiny bit would make wonders!

    • @djoewewalta483
      @djoewewalta483 2 роки тому

      @@LYN4X I totally agree man, I think I overdid it a little. Also the compression really kills the "cleanness" of the filgrain so that makes it more or less useless. Thanks for the comment baby!
