🤌Cook Dine Repeat I Crispy Lechon Kawali I Pork Belly🤤😍
Ingredients:
- Pork Belly
- Garlic
- Onion
- Whole black pepper
- Dried bay leaves
- Lemon grass
- Fish sauce
- Salt
- Cooking oil
- Water
Procedures:
1. Boil water in a pot then put the pork belly.
2. Add the seasonings; garlic, onion, whole black pepper, lemon grass, fish sauce, and salt.
3. Simmer the pork belly for 20-30 minutes.
4. Put the boiled pork belly into a stainer then cool down for 10-15 minutes.
5. Season/ rob the entire part of the pork belly with salt.
6. Hang and dry the pork belly for 2-3 hours. Or, oven the boiled pork belly for 10-15 minutes at 180˚ C.
7. Start to heat a wok then pour huge amount of cooking oil.
8. Put the boiled but dried pork belly over the wok using wire rack.
9. Pour hot cooking oil over the skin part of the pork belly until it pops up. Caution: Extra careful from splashing of hot oil.
10. After which, start to deep fry the pork belly at 180˚ C until it becomes gold brown. Flip over the meat every 30-60 seconds to avoid burning.
11. Rest for 10-15 minutes before to slice.
