some of the cages dont even have perches because they chewed them up as the only form of enrichment offered.. this is really not something to be praised. birds can be bred and kept in an extremely more ethical condition.

Thank you for having more than a channel of pretty birds. I am looking to start a colony of zebra finches. Primarily, I am looking to sell the eggs to breeders of egg eating snakes because only the finch sized eggs work for them at birth. There are very few suppliers of these so I see a niche to fill. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't breed some for sale too.

I raise birds with one goal and one goal only. To raise healthy high quality beautiful birds. Making money or trying to produce the highest number of birds has never entered the equation. I don't blame you. This is typical American culture profit over everything else. No pride in the product being produced. This is why in general Europe and Asia have much higher quality birds in aviculture. They breed for quality not quantity. as I do. This isn't aviculture this is a puppy mill for birds. Aviculture is what people in Europe, Asia, and Middle East do.
