7:21 Regarding the modular mind theory: “For she had a great variety of selves to call upon, far more than we have been able to find room for, since a biography is considered complete if it merely accounts for six or seven selves, whereas a person may have many thousand…and these selves of which we are built up, one on top of another, as plates are piled on a waiter's hand, have attachments elsewhere, sympathies, little constitutions and rights of their own, call them what you will (and for many of these things there is no name) so that one will only come if it is raining, another in a room with green curtains, another when Mrs Jones is not there, another if you can promise it a glass of wine -and so on; for everybody can multiply from his own experience the different terms which his different selves have made with him-and some are too wildly ridiculous to be mentioned in print at all.” ― Virginia Woolf, Orlando

Thanks, this was a great summary. I've been trying to realize the sense of self as illusory for quite a while, not conceptually (although I think that can help a little), but more intuitively/experientially. It can be very tricky. I think probably the most well known "technique" for doing this is Douglass Harding's "The Headless Way" which was of course influenced by Buddhism. I know many people have luck with this technique, but for me so far it's been illusive. Some people call the non-conceptual realization of lack of self as "Awakening" or "First Awakening" or "Kensho" (a Zen Buddhist term). It's a fascinating topic and something I'm keenly interested in. Thanks again for this cogent summary of the idea.

All the saints and sages experienced this order of cosmic Bliss and they put all the experiences on Holly books. But 99.99% thinks that they will do for us everything to bring peace in our chaotic life instead of observing our own actions and moves of body mind. They repeatedly said that suffering is all over us if we follow our Ego mind. And Listening is the only way. But No one listens. So sad. 🙏

So look at the Penrose cone model, then add a cone to the model only turn it upside down. At the base at the equator. What you will see 👀 is what a galaxy actually looks like inside the EMFS bubble it sits. And it will show you where the jets escape from. It's beautiful really. Penrose was on the correct trajectory. Minus the Gravity whatsoever anywhere. Peace ✌️ from Canada, eh.

Neat video! Some things I would add, maybe in a sequel: - Rockets don't go straight up, they go sideways to achieve orbit - Black holes aren't flat discs, they're "spheres" - Asteroids are never as close as they are in animations, unless you're in a planetary ring - Similarly, planets are far apart. REALLY far apart, to where you can't see Earth from mars, like some images would suggest (at least to the naked eye). Stars are even further apart. Galaxies? hohoho... - Space isn't a perfect vacuum. It never is. Even in the space between galaxies, there are a certain number of air molecules in a space, albeit very low. (Bonus: Earth's atmosphere doesn't abruptly cut off; every galaxy has an atmosphere of their own!) - When planets collide, they don't crumble apart like clay. They splash like weightless droplets of water. - Asteroids don't fly around space with a flaming tale (this only appears when they enter an atmosphere) or with little pebbles floating around them (there are rare exceptions to the latter, where asteroids have moons or even rings). - Gravity still exists in space, you're just falling sideways, not hitting a surface, so you don't feel weight. - By extension, the feeling (and effects) of what we think of as gravity aren't caused by being in an object's gravitational field. Instead, space warps and flows into mass. Since matter is embedded into the fabric of space, we too warp and flow into mass (aka falling). "Gravity" is what we get when a surface, like the ground, stops us. (Interestingly, this means that the GROUND is accelerating into US, at 9.8 m/s2; you can get the exact same effect as gravity by spinning, think a washing machine, or just regular ol' acceleration).
