I’m looking for a replacement rear LCD screen, seen a couple of aftermarket brands but their specs mentioned no backlight, anyone knows if the original Canon LCD have backlight functionality or a no backlight ? Any issues if I were to install an aftermarket LCD with no backlight ?

I have owned this camera for about 4 years and never knew how to really use it. I am in Applied Media School now and today was the first time we took out our cameras (outside) to practice using aperture, ISO and shutter speed. I really enjoyed your video because it was very clear...I followed along with my Canon and learned so much already from you. I will watch this a few times. Thanks so much for showing this tutorial. The surgery turned out great!! I am considering doing surgery but I'm very scared about damaged nerves and bleeding :(

This is all fine and dandy, but those options don't come up on my computer. I go to - start - my computer - canon eos - but the "dcim folders etc are not there for me. Rather I have an option that reads "get pictures from Camera" - I click that and it takes me to scanner and camera wizard, which has worked in the past with photos, but now I'm trying to upload video and where the thumbnail would usually be is just a big RED X. It states that "images are loading, but hours later still no images or thumbnails are loaded. When selecting next to just go ahead and upload these videos the wizard tells me that it cannot copy image or video . . . . It does not state why or anything else . . . Can you please help me? could it be these files are too big for my computer seeing that they're videos?? Thnak you Eric.
