Coober Pedy is an interesting looking place. I saw pictures and thought it looked like the Martian landscape. Turns out, that area was selected for filming a reality show about Mars. I think they were training people on how it may be if astronauts are sent to Mars. Thought that would be an interesting trivia tidbit there. Anyways, Listen Like Thieves was one of the best INXS albums. The title song, I loved it from way back then and the video for that was cool too.

I called Rockline, a national call-in radio show in USA, back in the 80's to ask INXS(Michael and Tim) a question. I was so nervous, and surprised I got through, I couldn't think of a question so the call screener suggested I ask how they got their name? Pretty generic and boring, I know, but I couldn't think of anything better! Anyway, while I was on hold, another caller asked Michael what was his favorite song to perform live? He said it changes, but currently it was "Kiss the Dirt". I always smile when I watch the video of "KtD" and the camera does a close up of Andrew and he gives this sheepish little grin.

I am a big fan of INXS and Michael Hutchence. I think this was from the Mystify documentary. When I first saw it, I cried at the end. The documentary was well made.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds or Nick Cave solo are completely different. Just because these groups/singers come from Australia does not mean they are the same or comparable.
