2nd gear reaches 85 in this one, but 2.73's go up to exactly 100, which is beyond ridiculous lol

The car chops a little bit at cold start but not all the time, I got some extra valvetrain noise but that's about it. Fuel economy wasn't really affected on the highway. Car has stock intake manifold (I heard the FAST is infamous for cracks and vacuum leaks so I want to port the stock intake since I don't want to keep retune it after every mod , also pretty expensive here in Europe) exhaust is a z06 exhaust from motor till muffler, stock stall, vararam intake. The 220R cam only did 35hp, before the cam it did about 2.5 seconds slower from 0-170mph, so not much of a difference to be honest. The only reason I did a cam upgrade was because I had a light (I thought lifter or someting) tick in the engine, maybe it was just a rocker arm since my old lifters and cam looked fine, but this valvetrain upgrade seems at least to be stronger than the stock stuff. I heard btr platinum dual valve springs last the longest, up to 50k miles or more...

No it was limited to 186mph, but has been removed by now, got a mild cam and will reach 198 mph gps

C5's and C6's actually get really good gas mileage surprisingly, it's around 29mpg highway and 23/24 in the city

i took a c6 vette on a road trip and it only did slightly worse than my jetta for mpg

Diff, not a wheel hub, I had a buzzing noise a few years ago, turned out to be a hub but it was consistent

I only noticed a 25hp gain along with the Z06 exhaust. But the exhaust without the Diablo didn't gain anything, same as only the tune, but the Diablo with the exhaust did gain 25hp

Illusions. When you control the variables (recording, speedometer calibration, grade of the road etc) you control the outcome. I promise you a stock LS2 Corvette does not do 0-100 mph in 9 seconds unless the DA is -2,000 ft and the traction is 100%. For accurate acceleration use sources where a third party controls the variables, like a drag strip. Notice how out of ALL the videos this guy has on his chanel there's not a single video at a drag strip. That's on purpose. The FASTEST pass on the stock LS2 C6 fast list is equal to a pass I made in 2 tries in Phoenix at 2,000 ft DA in a bone stock 385 hp 2001 Z06 lol. It's half a second and 5 mph slower than the fastest pass on the C5Z and LS3 C6 stock fast lists. FYI.

@@jessemess7598 At that time it was stock, now it has a Z06 exhaust from front to mufflers, vararam intake, ported intake manifold and diablosport tune. My friends Z06 was dead even till 170mph when we had to brake. I did a top speed test here on the autobahn and it said 192 mph GPS. I have it for 9 years now and I won't ever sell the Vette
