Tried again to fly my drone two miles across the Hood Canal (and back). This time I succeeded, but almost crashed into the trees on the other side due to intermittent signal loss at the maximum radio range. When I regained the signal, all I saw on the video monitor was trees, and I was very close. The signal was in and out while I was trying to rotate to return to home, and so I lost my bearing...
