This helped, thanks!
No problem, thank you for watching!
What is that grip module?!
Armory Craft
@ do you find it to be very different than the sig xl grip? Besides stippling?
No, there really isn't much difference at all.
I love it! That's a very cool pistol. I may have to duplicate this setup. Can You use a stock SIG barrel?
Not for this compensated slide, i needed to use a 3.1in.
Some people call me Morris.. But my name is Tokarov 🚬💀
I just bought the same exact grips for the same gun i just wish hogue would include the smith and wesson medallions on their grips
That would be sweet!!!
Looks good. I have Hogue wood double diamond grips on two 1911's.
My buddies always poke fun at me because i like the older wood style grips.
Самый лучьшый газовый балончик!))) И от двуногих и от четырехлапых
My father trained on one of these
They are amazing!!!
Daisy ha
$600 for a zpap ? Yea right
I recall seeing atlantic firearms having furniture ready m70s for around that or maybe it was 8 two years ago.
Just got mine back grandfather had it I inherited it he said it was for me when I came of age mostly a 1911 guy but I hear sigs are great
This is a great transition if you are coming from a 1911. You are going to really enjoy it. I ended up changing out the grips because I'm not really a fan of the cheaper feeling stock ones.
Very sexy!
You know what I can do when it doesnt cicle properly?
It could be a bunch of different things. What kind of magazines are you using?
@@VintageArmory i have one Original m70 Magazine and 3 magpul polymer mags, took them apart and cleaned them but it has nothing to do with the mags. Looks like the bolt doesnt close completely to feed the Bullet, its like its a Little stuck and then i Need to do either a full reload because no bullet cicled or i have to press against it to close it
Have you looked at the bolt and bolt carrier to see if there is any funny wear along the rails or just need to be cleaned/polished? Take off the dust cover and work the bolt carrier by hand. As you might be able to see where it is getting stuck, then you can go from there.
@@VintageArmory thank you will do that
No problem. Tell me how it goes.
Nice rebuild, the Rem UMC slide is cool
Beaver tail, not dovetail.
Wanna sell?
I don't sell firearms.
Holy smokes man, my 29-10 6.5 kicks, I fired a 500 smith with the same barrel length and by far the 44 mag recoil hurts more. Hope my new hogue grips make a difference
I like them a lot more. The rubber grips on the Smith&Wesson 500 are undefeated.
Does it shoot 38 S&W?
No, this one shoots .38 special, the other one I have shoots 38 S&W as it is a lend lease. This is a US navy model.
Magazine disconnect??
This model is hard to find, it's not many videos you'll see with that rail under the barrel.
I'm special.
That’s the a1 so ww2 era or past 1921
It's a WW1 slide from remington umc with a colt frame from WW2.
🔥shot
Thank you!
I would love a detailed list of the upgrades. Looking to do the same to mine if possible please
@James_dtfllc I have a newer video when I upgraded the slide. I didn't recall how in-depth I went into the upgrades, but I just rewatched it and put a updated parts list in the description 💪
@@VintageArmory thank you!
I did it with my P320 build. I should have done it with the P365. So thank you for pushing me to do it lol
Hey my favorite rifle and good choice of music very nice sir :)
Gotta love some CCR!!!
Get this man more views
🙌
Change the recoil spring and add a slide buffer. Then run some Hawthorn 45 Super(45acp +p++) 255 gr Flatnose Hardcast @ 1490fps and 1257fpe on the chronograph is more than enough for anything in North America 🤟😁👍
I think that the Smith is got to be the best rough service revolvers ever designed and manufactured. Although, because I'm left handed and find the Colt 1917 more user friendly I still own and shoot a Smith. Great revolvers.
Yeah, I have been on the lookout for a 1917 colt. It has been harder to find one in good condition and a decent price.
Well loved revolver there.
It's one of my favorites.
Peanut butter grips , butter
It's so much better than the stock grips
@@VintageArmory had South American wood . Ballastier. Molina . . Ostrich . Cowboy boot look . .
I'm definitely a sucker for wood grips.
The nicest grips for N frame square butts were the factory S&W finger groove combat in Goncalo Alves.
Back when Smith&Wesson cared.
Tokarev
I have pretty much the same set up, have the armory craft grip module, which is great. Have a PMM comp on one of my 365’s and the shalotek fury XXL slide and it’s every bit as good if not slightly better then the PMM comped set up I have. The fit and quality are fantastic and the aggressive serrations are awesome. My buddy has the same but he has the Fdez werx comped slide. It’s nice but the Shalotek is much better quality and seems to work slightly better from the comp standpoint and is about $100 cheaper which is an incredible value. Going forward, not going to think twice about getting a Shalotek slide.
I got this one after how much I enjoyed shooting the one I got for my 320. It is a slippery slop as I have been looking at building out another 365.
Is that chrome plated or a metal alloy? My m70 is more of a metal alloy look which i dont mind but i initially thought it'd look more like your m57
This one is Chrome.
I fixed the likes from 666 to 667
Nice.
Tetejac
Tetejac m57 7.62 mm
One negligent discharge in 3..2..1..
I don't think there has ever been a case of the udx firing from the slide being sent home, but I guess anything is possible.
Bro is posting from silent hill
Right!!!
Thanks for getting all of those processes on camera instead of out of view really appreciate it👍🏻
No problem. I'm glad you enjoyed the content.
When did you buy it and how much did it cost you?
Arma más hermosa
Thank you!
Only $300 bucks All steel..comes with an extra soft grip butt and a nice pouch..🎉
Right 😆 I was actually buying something else and said hey why not toss that in there too.
Just got mine for $199.99 😮
I came.
Keep her oiled its looks good
would you part with the stock you removed?
Yeah I would.
@@VintageArmory how many beenz would you want shipped
I can see how much shipping is, and I will pretty much give it to you for that.
@@VintageArmory ok and let me know when u need contact info thx u
Tokarev 7.62X25 is a hot and accurate round!
Definitely spicy 🔥🔥🔥
Pays 300$ extra for folding stock… then buys a plane stock… Same … i did the exact same shit 🤣🇺🇸
Lmfao, I thought the folding stock was my match made in heaven. Then, after running through a bunch of ammo, it was hell 😂🤣😂
OG Marty Robbins🎶🎶
I figured it was one of the beat songs for this gun.
Oh boy, key lock 🤮
Yeah unfortunately it is a newer model.
bought mine in 1978 nut with adjustable sights. still the best 9mm out there
It is definitely one of my favorites!
