@ margo i finally watched that video! Your journey was amazing and congrats! When i will try to create GMC online account before registering for plab 1 , what are the things i will need? GMC will send email to my russian medical university? Is it easy or there will be any difficulty doing that? Please share me any information about which i might face difficulty while creating GMC account! And by the way, when you moved to Ireland? After passing plab 1 or before that? What kind of visa u had while travelling to ireland ? Comparing pres vs plab, which one is a fast procedure? And which one takes longer duration to complete and become registered as doctor? And thanks a lot, finally i found a russian doctor who can guide me for ireland medical exams and registration. Very happy. Russia is like my second home and i feel we both r from same country even though my home country is bangladesh. Hope to hear from u soon and Good luck✌️ and if possible mention me some ways of moving to ireland rather than student visa, so that i will be able to work and prepare for plab 1.

@ first of all thanks a lot for reply. i graduated from a russian medical university. In russia there is no specific internship or a certificate of internship. Internship for 1 year after 6 years of medschool doesnt exist in russia. After graduating there is a entrance exam for medical residency and thats it.

@ margo, if i go to ireland for a two years masters course and side by side if i prepare for all the parts of press exam, will it be a good idea?

Hi again! For that i think you should decide what kind of load you can handle. Regarding internship if you graduated in Russia should be ok because they were ok with me.

You have to apply for registration through pres 3 fist omce they asses all you docs you can do pres 3. You can find a guide on their official website

Hi! You should check world dictionary of medical schools. If your university is there there is a high chance you eligible for PRES. For more details please refer to official website of Irish Medical Council

Hi! You need at least 6.5 in each section and 7 overall to book PLAB 1. At least that was the requirement when i did it, please double check everything youself

@margomeetsworld5701 thanks for your reply, I'm not yet IMC registered , but I have the right to live in Ireland I'm still considering the move since I need press 3, I see many with gaps like me I have 5 years after Internehip gap is it possible to find a job if I have stamp 4?

I have the same clinical gap at the moment, looking for a job since January. So far no luck. But i know at least 2 people with similar gap that found a job so all is possible

Hey! I think the process is very similar to how you registered with GMC only different exams. Ireland accepts plab 1 but has its own plab 2(pres 3)

Hi! As far as I know if you been practicing in European union for 3 years you can register in Ireland without any exams.
