what skimmer are you using

Very cool tank I love the odd dimension tanks, always give you an illusion!

I have always been fascinated by marine aquariums. But im just too lost as to where to start...budget, space, all those weird chemical formulaes, filtrations etc.

I love both the fresh and salt water set up. I believe the Garden Greenery of the Fresh water tank and the Vibrant Colours of the Reef tank can complement each other in the same home. To soothe and rejuvenate one’s emotions depending on the mood of the day. 👍🏻👍🏻

Going to add anything to the tank they won't eat? Like certain macro algae or some of the more unpalatable soft corals?

Tank and fish are looking amazing man. Sadly I lost one of my butterflies the other day. Only ate clams and all the other fish love them too.

Some serious halo fish, especially those butterflies. Tank feels pretty packed already… maybe some wrasse? Any possibility of reviewing your sump setup and gear to keep the ich under control?

I think FOWLR tanks are so under rated. I am doing the same with the IM 200 peninsula butterflies angels a couple smaller wrasses and a tang. love the queen that and the Emp. are my fav. not sure I am gonna try either tho.. my long nose BF gets out of QT in a week along with a coral beauty. slowly stocking the tank. beautiful tank great fish selection and nice video production! keep on keeping on brother.

i’ve had my clarisea sk 3000 for almost 2 years. no complaints with changing the rolls especially when red sea has issues with sensors, misalignment etc. i like the float switch type. as long as you clean it up every now & then. the roll change is easy. look up deven/ reef dude’s tutorial.

Mine likes large sinking pellets and is a good shrimp hunter. He ate all 10 of my peppermint shrimp, 1 sexy shrimp, 1 marble shrimp and 1 coral banded shrimp. So shrimp are definitely not something you want to keep with them everything else is fine.

SPS with a bunch of wrasses is a cool look. Running the Bolus method is making for a pretty bulletproof SPS tank so far.

I never got these drop off reefs being sold.. couldn't you just buy a regular tank and just add two pieces of acrylic/glass inside and get the same drop off reef dimension lol

I have something similar but smaller. I have what's called a 12 long. 12 gallons and 3 feet long. I use similar lights called Hypargero A029. I got them on sale for $55 a piece. Those plus all for reef and my corals, especially montipora, grow like crazy. You really don't have to spend a fortune to start a nice nano tank.
