Wish I was hunting back then. I grew up up with hunting trips as the biggest thing to look forward to. As you sir have had some great stories also luck through your hunting days. Keep up the good work. Always love to hear a good hunting story.

Another great story with video and commentary of a natural pro! I’ve never done a hunt up north but it is a dream… I’d like to kill one of those huge northern moose with my bow. I’ve killed a couple with my bow but not that big. Watching all your stories here has really got me thinking. I should document some of my hunt memories from the past 50 years. I’ve been thinking in detail about some of mine…just fun to get thinking and remembering. Thanks for the inspiration Ray! I’ll continue to watch the rest of your stuff and leave comments as I go. Don’t let me catch up! Keeping putting them out there!

Ha ha, I too hate hunting early. I love to hunt in late November and early December. No one’s around, and with snow, you know what’s fresh and what’s not. Then if you see a track then you can get on it. But the fact that the bull is there and it doesn’t mind the commotion ect. They are such curious animal. Love moose stories, I already have two for this year, no moose yet, but I’ve got a month or two, I’ll wait for snow and then go behind my house a few kms. Yep, live 8n northern Ontario and only need to go about 10 minutes in side by side.

Wow! Crazy story… glad you made it through… the older we get the more crazy stories of real life we have. I haven’t been through anything that bad… hopefully never will.

Jeez... that's a big dump of snow. You keep it, ok? Your poor clothes line. This one 4:11 was a pretty cool shaped moose, and that deer was wide. Talk about a natural blind, using that beaver house. What a story!
