Great help 🥰 not all 4 doors unlocking! I will be replacing the battery in my fob first . Then l will be doing this procedure. I have followed this video, it has chimed and half my doors unlock . So now l Waite for Amazon to send me new batteries for the fob ( 3 volt 2032 )

I get the beep after turning the key 4 times but not when I press the remote button on my key. I just had a low battery and changed for a new one. I'm not getting the low battery message anymore so I assume the new battery is just fine and not the reason for the buttons not working. Anyone any ideas.

Hi I have this car with panoramic roof however it seems to need a reset and doesn’t move more than an inch for the intial front flap to raise. Any ideas on where to reset this?

My astra ecolife opel estate diesel 2009 had its service light on then engine. Scanned and says dpf issues, also a cap possibly stuck. Would this still clear? I tried 3rd gear 3000 revs but thinking maybe 4000 revs next 🤔unsure if a cap being stuck means whole system is blocked maybe

It is probably worth noting that this only works if you are on the mileage screen. I tried on the fuel economy screen, and it didn't work. Once I switched to the mileage screen it worked fine.

So what did you do to get the buttons to work? At first it didn't then you reset the key?

You are an absolute godsend. I forgot about laying my key job on the roof of my 2008 Ford Fiesta while putting a leash on my dog and by the time I came back the key was not there or on my person. Mind you, this all took place about a year ago. I checked everywhere around the car and under it, each wheel (logical place to put it in my opinion.) I backtracked every inch of the forest me and my dog went to (she had the time of her life, alas... I certainly did not.) I asked any other people about it, but no one saw anything. So there I am, no key shut out of my car. A friend of mine is a mechanic and after forcing the door open with inflatables we could haul my car to somewhere where they could replacate the key, since I was already missing my spare years back. (Protip: never get down to one key, ever.) All in all, it cost me about €250-300 / £220-260, I can't remember exactly. I let them make one key fob with the buttons and one without to take with me when kitesurfing. After a couple of months the 'buttons on the new' key fob stopped working. I know it was a Chinese knockoff, I agreed that was alright. After months in the Dutch rain when removing leaves behind the top of the hood I noticed something... It was the original key. Who the hell would leave it there for the owner to find? Anyway, it didn't work either. Since about a week I was sick of it, I changed the battery, reset the prongs, but to no avail. However, I now tried it with the original key and it still didn't work, until I found your video. The original key is back in action! edit: so is the knockoff key fob, I forgot to put it back and turn the ignition or something I think. It works now as well!
