Custom Hotwheel Mod !! 1990 ACURA NSX
In This video, I take the 2/10 HW THE 90’s mainline ACURA NSX, paint and mod many details and show off the beauty that 1:64 car can have.
The 1990s Acura NSX was a revolutionary sports car, blending Japanese engineering precision with the performance characteristics of an exotic supercar. Powered by a mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 engine, it featured advanced technology like variable valve timing (VTEC) and an all-aluminum body, making it lightweight and agile. Designed with input from Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna, the NSX boasted superb handling, a comfortable interior, and daily drivability, distinguishing itself from the typical high-maintenance exotics of the era. It became an iconic symbol of Honda’s engineering prowess and remains a timeless classic.

For the last day of “nerd camp” we were in the CNC machining shop. We made aluminum Thor hammers and little tops that can spin up to 3 minutes. Pretty neat

Today we welded in clays shop. We made wind thingys and learned to mug weld. Lunch was pretty mid today but they were watching my videos so that’s kinda cool

Today we built toolboxes in Mikes HVAC lab. We bent sheet metal into shape then spit welded them closed. Later we launched bottle rockets and imploded a barrel.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You're a real pro my man, very impressive!👍
How long did it take from start to finish? What basic tools would you recommend?
It took me about 2 weeks
I’d recommend a nice exacto blade, some Fluch cutters, and a solid array of little paint brushes. Good plastic cement is a life changer too.
What kind of spray paint do you use? Brand?
Testors I just pick it up at my local hobby lobby .
Absolutely incredible bruh u nailed it!!! ✌
This is the exact build I want to attempt. Could you possibly show a little about how you go rid of the mold lines? Also, how long would you say this took you overall?
Usually an exacto knife will do the trick with the larger lines but I like to use a fine sandpaper too just in case
Do You spray paint in the house. I am a newbie.
Well done. I am a newbie this helped me alot.
Just came across your channel, cool stuff. New subscriber!
Thanks man, means a lot 🫶
Awesome custom! Tho the back wheels feel a bit off since the original one had a larger wheel than the front
I did notice that and thought about canting the wheels to fit it better, but then it dragged on the ground and I didn’t like the look too much.
My dad used to do these, today I picked one up to see what’s up and see if i inherited the talent lol
Awesome build
Thanks!😊
Amazing! So glad I came across this rad video😁👍
Doesn’t get much radder than this
amt 1 2/5
do you have the old smooth big block valve cover thank you
Most kits come with a bunch of extra pieces for engine modifications am what nots. I’m not entirely sure what this one came with in terms of such mods
Scroll down and find the language. The English one will say English
Great job on this one. It turned out very cool
Part You Didn't Know Name Of is Radiator Support
1:27 That's the distributor assembly. The bottom piece was supposed to be chrome or gold and the top was supposed to be black
What have you done to the engine it looks like shit
☹️
Toyota Prius 98 hp🤤
Yeah fr 😂
Very nice build. Thanks for sharing.
Salut my friend super car 👍👍 super video subscribe subscribe

I’m working a a new car right now, sorry for the long break
Great job. How come you think it's leaning on the passenger side though? Something seems off
🤷♂️
I dropped the car and it shattered, i had to buy another one just for the body 😅
Oh darn
Hi. Great job. What kind of paint and glue do you use?
I use testers paints and Mr. Cement S as a glue
Thank you
Love that color with the black stripes. Also It’s nice to see someone brush paint.
Nice build! What cement do you use?
I use Mr. Cement S
Great job on the Chevelle...I have subbed your channel
Awesome! This is a great help to my project!
What’s your set up?
My desk
Love the color
Great job!
Tyres are directional and a very poor fit. Works ok one side only. Built mine in white with a weathered and rusted finish.
Awesome build, one suggestion? On the rims and wheel backs I always scrape away the chrome and try not to paint where they'll mate when gluing. Testors triangle shaped glue (platic weld) bottle with precision tip works great. Just lay a bead of glue on each inner face, sandwich the tire between them, and use a small clamp until dry. Keep up the build vid,,, 🙂👍.
Thanks for the tip
Nice work enjoyed watching your build. I have 2 on a shelf to get to one of these days
The great length video for a model build! You did it about right! Not too long not too short. Thank you for posting.
Agreed, straight forward and to the point. I have two of these kits and they build quite well.
That turned out awesome love square body chevys!
Looks good 👍
What's the measurements on the interior?Pls.
Am I seeing a mismatch of tires? Looks like one tire is not the same as the other 3. Rather than white for headlights, I suggest you use Mod Podge. It dries clear and smooth. Craft stores carry it, if you don't find it at HL. You will also want to learn about black-washing grilles. Hobby stores carry black paint diluted to the right level for darkening grille backgrounds, and you wipe away excess with Q-tips. It can also be used to enhance chrome wheel realism.
Very cool build, that gold looks sharp with the black stripes.🤓👍
Everyone talking about the handbrake being backwards, it’s an error in the instructions manual. Not entirely his fault! It’s also not a 68 model year, it’s 67. These model kits always get a detail about the cars make/model/year/trim wrong. In this case it’s the year.
Thanks for clearing that up, I was wondering exactly why he did that. Great build either way.
I can’t find number 14 on the cut out
Tough ig
My instruction say use gunmetal on all the engine parts you’re using brass on. I like your brass better. This gunmetal doesn’t work against black
Yeah I struggled with that one too. Then I looked up some photos of the real car and some of them looked close enough to brass for me to use it.
Great job 🛠👀👊
problem??
Nice video and channel! Just found you and subd. Well done.
how did you glue the sideview mirrors to truck
I used a thicker glue I found at hobby lobby. I don’t think it’s for model cars but it held alright. It helps if you lay the truck on the side so the mirror just stays in place with gravity.
