I think all adopted kids feel that whether they get adopted by a black family or white family. I was adopted when I was 7 by a black family. Going through what we as in adoption is a trauma that we have to live with and because I'm a black man my mother who gave me up and my adopted mom didn't treat me as well as I would have liked her to do I'm now in my 30s and I'm married to a white woman. My opinion is to get out and make a name for yourself. Don't wait for your adopted family to help you.
