I haven't counted the exact time, but in my recent co-op run with friends in VTG, we found out the hard way how weak the brick has become as a weapon even with Strong Arm. I actually really like the nerf to both Strong Arm and Stun, as it forces us to play more carefully and not simply having the power to cheese every enemy in the game with a long stun duration.

The previous method was found by accident, I was just hiding from a pusher and suddenly ended up on a roof 💀. But in this case, I did start looking for a new method deliberately

My channel is very small and reaches a very small audience so seeing people doing my explorations feels very fulfilling and makes me happy. I couldn't take credit for someone else's work on finding something by accident or looking for something on purpose, the best solution is to provide a link so that you can see it in the person who recorded it first and see what another creator records

⁠@@fexgamedevBro, in the new weekly event on this trial, I used your parkour trick to jump directly from the train to the gate to save myself time. So glad you discovered this because it’s actually useful for navigating around the map in certain situations. 😊

The reason is because I stay on the safe zones (the zones where the environment still shows up) I explain this in greater detail in my previous exploration guide, since it was too long I have just put many more timestamps for anyone who wants to find more information about it. The reason why you see that I tend to stick to the walls is because, as a general rule, there tend to always be safe zones when you get closer to the playable areas of the trial, which are generally delimited by walls.

I have experience learning the maps quickly 😁, part of the reason is I'm making a set of online interactive maps for all the trials, so I'm used to learning the layouts and the zones and all that stuff. But also I've been playing this game since the beta so that plays a role obviously

Yeah I feel the same about that type of gameplays, I used to do some tryhard stuff like that but then I realized it would be more interesting and enjoyable to be more organic 🙂, so I'm glad you appreciate that. I feel you about playing solo, I'm more of a lone wolf when it comes to games because I like to take my time to learn, explore and enjoy, and I don't like to feel that I should restrict that or meet a standard to not hold a team back or something, I like to play at my own pace. But I do have some friends who I can play with sometimes. If you feel like you would enjoy playing with others but are too shy or would like to meet them a little bit first, there are many discord servers you can join, the most popular one being the official Outlast server. (You also have my discord username in the description of my channel just in case). Hey 218 minutes is not bad lol 😁, it sounds like a great adventure, my first ever kill the snitch run sure was more than an hour and a half long, I'm pretty sure lol. Heeey you're the guy! The guy from the other glitch. I'm very curious to try your glitch of the mansion but I was so focused on this guide the whole month that I honestly didn't even play the new version of the Rebirth trial yet 💀, but now that I finally posted this I'm gonna play it and then try your glitch as well. Nice, I didn't know about the corpses! And yeah I wonder the same thing about the npc walk strat, I definitely hope so. And I'm excited to see what other things you guys can find out of all this. Something else that is worth mentioning and I forgot: The nature of this glitch is not bound to the NPC Walk method, that method is only a deterministic way to always place your character in the key spot without randomness involved. But it is not strictly necessary, if you find another way to always position yourself in the key spot and orient your camera correctly the glitch will still work. The nature of the glitch, I believe, has more to do with the way the objects and their bounding boxes happen to be placed next to each other in that part, I'm talking about the railing (which allows vaulting over it, that's important) and the roof of the fish market; something there makes you jump higher than normal. This, plus why there seems to be <<something that stops>> the NPC Walk in that spot, is what we should focus on to find more of these glitches. But of course, this is just my guess

I think I recall seeing some instances where objects are "embedded" in or next to the rail in a similar fashion, However with the way the game currently is I cant just pick any trial thanks to the changes made -_-. If you're up for it I can share stuff that I've found and not uploaded on discord and maybe you could find something I haven't? It's super cool seeing stuff like this and having people put so much effort to path and route areas

It's called "Noise Indicator", it's in the "General" tab of the Settings menu. I also recommend activating the "Darkness Indicator" in the same menu, that indicator is the one you can see in the bottom-right, just above the inventory, it tells you exactly when you truly are in the darkness, sometimes trying to deduce it visually can be tricky since some areas seem dark but have little light spots and there you could be seen by enemies while you might think you're hidden, so I recommend that as well :)
