Hello. Please advise. I have an LLC in Illinois. I am going to sell products on Etsy and Amazon. These platforms collect sales tax themselves. My accountant says that even though Amazon and Etsy will collect sales tax from my sales, I must register with IDOR and file a zero declaration ST-1 monthly for reporting. Do I really need to do this?

I know an online business that’s a general partnership not located in Illinois and has no physical presence in Illinois, I am interested in knowing whether any online sales of their services provided online from outside of Illinois to an Illinois resident who’d physically present in Illinois would be considered Illinois sourced income?

Why did you make MyTax less functional than it use to be? I have to file a paper return now because you no longer support all the forms and schedules you use to support online for at least the last ten years. It's mind boggling. I get wanting to make the process simpler but you could have kept the "classic" system functional as well. So disappointed. I thought Illinois was better than this.

A literal nightmare trying to login. The problem is the authentication app/email which is unreliable or non existent. There needs to be a support box dedicated to just letter id submissions, to authentication app link or a way to change which you prefer. It' very confusing all around. They need to start from square one with this.

What incompetent fools. I have to submit a request to get a letter sent to me by the also incompetent US Postal Service to authorize me to file my Illinois Taxes Electronically. Why am I not surprised? Here's a tip... Get a clue.

This process would be a great security measure if it didn't lock out users who haven't been to their MyTaxIllinois account in a while. I set up my Google Authenticator last year, and now I have a new phone that does NOT have authenticator info for MyTaxIllinois. Now I'm locked out of my account, can't check taxes, steadily getting calls telling me to file. I CAN'T FILE UNTIL I CAN GET IN!! This is highly inconvenient...

Ridiculous. This was a solution looking for a problem. No one was hacking into my account to pay my taxes for me. I can't even get into the system to fill out the forms...

It would be much more helpful if you actually told us how to configure this newly required authentication app. I hope I don't get penalized for not being able to log in to my account to send payment now that you have locked me out, but not advised me how to comply with your new requirements.

As others have stated, there's no way to set up the Google Authenticator and no way to access my account in any other way. How am I expected to file my return on time?

There is no link or area on the My Tax Illinois website that provides the QR code or setup key necessary to setup Google Authenticator. This video neither shows that step in the process nor advises how to do it. Where is the screen shown at 0:49 which shows an option to setup the Authentication App or receive security codes by email? He just jumps to the screen without showing how to access it. There isn't a link to resend a security code either as shown at 1:28. This needs to be resolved asap. It's probably the developer platform shown in the video in its perfect state.

This is crap! I don't get any option of email vs authenticator nor do I get an option to resend the code! So essentially I am locked out and cannot do any business on this site!
