Just Another RV Channel
Приєднався 7 лип 2015
This channel is primarily for some special people that I know. It is to show them some of the country they have not seen yet. There will be no cooking, repair work (unless very interesting), setting up a camp site, etc. There are plenty of channels to see that. We will be seeing a lot of driving, roadside attractions, tourist traps and a whole lot of our country. If this is to your liking than lets get to traveling!
An Expensive Week
A chunk of cash was spent last week due to brake problems and generator problems. Also had to get a motel room and food. Hope this doesn't happen again!

Bonnie & Clyde Ambush Site
Переглядів 591 тис.9 років тому
A short stop at the ambush site of Bonne & Clyde. An isolated road in rural Louisiana, a broken down friend and about a dozen heavily armed LEO's hiding in the bushes. The outcome was obvious. Death for Bonnie & Clyde.
Tunnel? What Tunnel???

Going through the tunnel in Mobile Louisiana. Seems like the signs start 5 miles away from this tunnel! When I finally get to it, it begins an unpleasant next few days. More on that later.
Leaving Rivers Edge & I 10 W

Finally leaving Rivers Edge Campground after about a one month stay. Heading North/West via I-10.
Rivers Edge Campground

A short video of Rivers Edge Campground. Be sure to use Passport America for the best rates at this campground. Weekly rate is 155.00. With the PA discount I paid 105.00. Note: If you stay for a month or more you will also be charged for electricity.
Officers were not on both sides, they were all on the opposite side as to not be shooting towards each other. Henry Methvins father was the one who acted like he was broke down. Henry Methvin was part of the Bonnie and Clyde gange and his father set them up to get leniency for his son.
I've always wondered about monuments. Is it where it really happened, or so many feet left or right. One would have to get old county maps of the road it happened on. Compare it to today's actual road. If it's possible.
They were in my opinion murdered I don't call the shooters brave that had the upper hand and I have read that Bonie was screaming after Clyde was shot if that was the case they didn't need to keep shooting she may could have been taken alive
I found an old Remington casing in a five layer knife booby trap drawer, JFK's assassination bullet, and carriage clothes of him and jacki. the only thing they didn't leave here is a fun time sticki collector's book of themselves that they were working on
There's still a few trees with shells in them opposite of where law enforcement opened fire
Yes I agree metal detector and a magnetic stick yoll bound to find bullets balls and shell's most probably
My father accidentally found this. I was about 9 or 10. He was lost and stopped there. It looked a bit like a rest stop. He stopped to look at a map. He pulled closer to look at the marker. It's a beautiful country drive.
I have no sympathy for them…law enforcement did what they needed to do to protect other officers and protect innocent people!
What road is that? In Louisiana?
My uncle was a young boy living in Arcadia (LA) and can remember seeing their bodies when they were displayed in town. He said people were cutting hair and clothing from them for souvenirs.
Both sides of the road!!? Crossfire
I don't believe a damn thing my government tries to sell me.
We're is that at
They did not hide on both sides of the road- that would be counter productive
I'm from Spain and one day I would like to visit that place :) I'm really interested in the story of Bonnie and Clyde, any extra recommendations about tourism in that area?

Very interesting site to visit. It would have been better if you would hold the camera still instead of making us all dizzy trying to read and see the surrounding area.
Well they were set up and snitched on - the police were hiding in the bushes- guess they didn't have miranda rights back than... barely read them today 😅
Any ghost hunter tried EVP on this site?
Cool Video- Bonnie and Clyde are certainly an interesting story. The police arrested a bunch of people that aided them during their crime spree.. Ironically no one arrests police for aiding and protecting the criminals in governments all over the world.
In Italia ad ogni metro abbiamo un capolavoro, questi erigono monumenti a dei criminali. E pretendono pure di dare lezioni al mondo intero.
Weren’t they coming from the opposite direction?
These cops that killed Bonny and Clyde were cowards how they ambushed them. They didn't have the gutt's too face them face too face. They even had a monument put up stating they were dedicated police officer's that did their job's. That's funny, too me they were all scary COWARD'S. Yes they robbed bank's which that was wrong, killed people that got in their way, maybe they were trying too hurt or even kill them. They just probably defended them selves. As for the cop's, we'll they were just doing their job's. They did help some people at least right.
All that land
Bonnie and Clyde escaped from an ambush near Dexter, Iowa and made it to the home of cohort Henry Methvin's father in northern Louisiana. They holed up there, and Methvin's father (named Ivy) made a deal where his son got off with a lesser sentence in which he set up Clyde and Bonnie. That resulted in their ambush. Interesting video---lovely countryside.
That Community Is Called Sailes! Their Hide Out Was At The Old John Cold House Near There! Officers Were Stationed Only On The High Ground Side Of The Road! They Took A Wheel Off Ivy Methvins Truck Which Caused Clyde To Slow Down! Ivy Was Tied To A Pine Tree And Gagged! They Had Already Ran 12 Road Blocks! #13 Didn’t Happen! Ted And Boots Hinton Were My Friends!
if they were bank robbers why were they unjustly murdered???? why ambushed them they didnt kill anyone!!
there was more officers who killed bonnie and clyde yes they were massacre!! and murdered!! bonnie and clyde did not kill anyone it was the people who were with them that did the murders but police wanted to make you think they were the bad guys when in actually it was them!! read books guys!!
Ironic how 6 lawmen could get away with emptying an entire clip into two white people back in 1934 and nobody would care whereas today literally an entire country of civilians will be rioting non stop in the streets for days over a cop shooting a single bullet into a black person leading to his death.
I was there last July, someone has stole the big bronze plaque. The pedestal is still there.
Were you driving in the same direction as Clyde fr the cafe ? In Hinton's reenactment the roadster was coming from the rightside of the marker?
I can't believe that people graffiti the stone how disrespectful wow , I get they were outlaws but they paid for their crimes not only riddled with bullets but also displayed thru town and having an ear cut off after death and such from crazed fan base ppl wanting flesh souvenirs, but to graffiti this I guess ya wasn't raised with no respect for a tombstone or the dead ! Smh
The movie The Highwaymen is the most accurate movie. The one from the 60’s is bs
They were not shot where the plaque and large stone are at. The town put that off the road so that people would not bog down the actual road when they came to see the site. The actual place where they died was on the road directly on front of the signs there. Imagine drawing a straight line from the middle of those two monuments there to the furthest car lane from the signs. That's where the car was shot up. The road location is the same. Shrubs were removed since.
They weren't massacred, they were 2 dangerous individuals
In the direction you are driving The car ended up on the left side of the road. Yet the marker is on n the right side. None makes sense. What’s up with that. In the short film. Two lawmen look down the road and it curves to the left
That’s more than a mile
I bet metal detecting that wooded area will find a lot of spent cartridges which would sell for a nice sum
Maybe the pizza Clyde was eating or the meatball sandwich Bonnie had can be found also?
Sir the actual ambush site was in the curve ahead of you. They moved the ambush site memorial to the straight away. Due to the curve, For the public safety to pull over , to view the site.
The original influencers
They weren't modern day "Robin Hoods" but murderous rampaging ghouls of death. RIP the victims of their terror.
YES But where's the Hail of Bullets I think you should have requested the Gun Fire, just to see if you could have Survived. Would be Great Fun Yep
I BELIEVE officers were on one side of the road shooting at Bonnie & Clyde. Too risky if officers were on both sides of the road shooting at Bonnie and Clyde. Stray bullets hitting a officer of the law
Those cops that murdered them I’m guessing didn’t get fired or anything for that shame lol
90 years after the fact and it’s still desolate.
I could never understand why White people are infatuated with BAD people. Bonnie and Clyde, Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Serial killers. I think it speaks VOLUMES about them. 😒
Law enforcement has been killing people for years
Definitely a desolate place where this monument is..I visited in May last year ('22)
Was the bronze plaque still there? It was gone in July (2022)
@@OO-by2jl yes it was still there. I visited in May '22. I still have pictures of it. It must've been removed between May and July 🤷
Bad camerawork. I want to see script on the monuments. Your camera is too shaky
How do you get there? Where is it located actually? I can't find it trying to surprise my wife on our upcoming trip please help!?
