Welby Way School's "The Odyssey of Bruiser "' (1988)

This is a class movie from Welby Way School in West Hills, California (Class of 1988). Inspired by a tick found on my dog, Casey, we wrote a script together as a class - a silent film with sentence strips for dialogue providing grammar practice. I have had to remove the commercial background music I added to the movie to meet UA-cam requirements - but the students' skits, which they created all on their own, do have audio. It was a wonderful class - and a wonderful time!

Home movies of the McBrides when Scott was an infant. Aunt Debbie and Brent, Gramma Julie, Mindy...the whole gang. Scott plays the piano for the first time. His "talent" shows through. At the end Peter hits a home run for his PIP softball team - modified fast pitch.

The crowd was generous and allowed me to do what I do on a wave. Guys were hooting for me during the ride. This is the kind of wave I will see less and less as I get older....but boy, it's been a fun ride! This one brought back memories of special waves in my life. I'm riding one with Stacie now!
