Westfield Christmas Lights display 2019 with Christmas music

Every year the folks of Westfield near Hastings in East Sussex put on a fantastic Christmas light display in aid of the St Michaels Hospice. All proceeds go to the charity. To date they have raised over £76k! They switch on from 6pm every day through December. Now a well known local Christmas attraction, it really is worth a visit!
Correct operation of Astra 1.9 CDTI swirl flaps after a new inlet manifold was fitted.

Showing the correct operation of the swirl flap control bar on an Astra 1.9 CDTI SRI 150. Controlled by Op-Com output tests. Astra has a new inlet manifold with blanked EGR Valve (Physically and electronically) and no longer soots up the manifold or sensor, which is a common fault. The soot leads to worn swirl flap seals which then fall off in the end.

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve Filmed From The Air - DJI Phantom

A 30mph Westerly wind made filming extremely challenging, but it was a beautiful sunny late afternoon flight with the DJI Phantom. Filming in 720P High Definition, it spent most of its time at about 30 degrees fighting the wind to hold position. Didn't dare go near the water for obvious reasons or too high because Seagulls tend to get a bit close!
Carp Stalking on Floaters (Close Up)

Carp caught on a floater and bait band filmed close in from the bank on my Iphone4s. Not an easy task filming and fishing at the same time! I was literally 18" from the floater when it came up and took it. As I was filming with my right hand I had to strike with my left hand. I filmed for an hour before nearly giving up, then as I walked away I spotted it on the surface. This is the result, enjoy.

The flaps shift between 10 and 2 o clock. Which is at idle and which at revs? Can’t hear the sound

Colin, you really should not have used your drone at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve without asking permission from the Sussex Wildlife Trust... and I would not have given it. Pleased to see you didn't stray too far from the road :-).

I know this reserve pretty well from visits over the years . .and I have noticed that the person operating the drone didn't cross the boundary (fox fence) into the designated nesting areas etc . . so you have to give him credit for that I would have thought ? . .I think if he wanted to fly over the fenced area then permission would not be granted . .I'm sure Barry Yates will have advice on this fairly new hobby . .
