Oh dear, there is no sound!

This view that the gifts of the Spirit and miracles have ceased and were only meant to establish the early church is in error. This message is preached over modern pulpits only because there is no true faith on earth. Just as the nation of Israel departed from the law of Moses early after they came into the promise land, the church soon became apostate after the early apostles and leaders died. The true church will be established, and all things restored when the two prophets come and minister the golden oil of the Spirit prior to Christ's second coming

We don’t come to the word of God and think we know more about righteousness than God does, but we also don’t listen to your explanation of Romans 9 and think that you’ve come anywhere close to what it’s saying. You can read that Paul is referencing that Hod chose Jacob not Esau, but you’re missing who Paul means is Jacob and who is Esau. Paul is not teaching that God chose Jacob and not Esau, the Jews already knew that. Paul was teaching that God didn’t leave out Esau. And if the Jews didn’t believe that Paul is teaching well, the Gentiles are more like Jacob and you Jews are more like Esau, how do you like that?? How would you Jews like it if it really were true that God only chose some people, and this some people weren’t you guys?? Now, the good news is God didn’t choose some and leave out others, he chose everyone, amen!

Today is April 1, 2021. Today is Maundy Thursday. This passage from 1 Corinthians will most likely be read in churches today. Remember that when Paul recorded this, Jesus had risen from the dead and had ascended back into Heaven. But I'm sure that Paul was aware of what Jesus had done when he was on the earth. Another passage good for today is 1 Corinthians 11:17-32 or an abbreviated version in vs. 23-26. Corinth: the New York City/Las Vegas of the Bible. Agree or disagree? Feel free to reply.
