I got a 1988 that's beat up still starts pretty decent tho. Beautiful looking car man
I can’t get my hand or wrench in to get the last rail mount off… what the hell am I doing wrong
If I remember right, there is a wiring harness back there that doesn't feel like it could slide over enough but it does slide over the intake enough to get a hand back there.
I have a 2002 Chevy s10 2.2 5 speed are the injectors the same ?
Yes they should be the same
Liking for the red version of my truck
lol
Life is too short to buy a Chinese-made scooter. Want a Vespa? Save up your money and get a Vespa.
Yup
I got the same one
The easiest way is to go from underneath the truck I didn't have to remove any of that and took me about 15 minutes to complete
🖕 these trucks, not you. I've learned my lesson and took a loss on mine, had to save for another vehicle and got way low amount in scrap value. These trucks take your money eventually and they don't pay you back. Definitely worth looking around more before you do one of these. Nice truck by the way and hopefully yours lasts and keeps being nice to you.
No hate at all, but did you properly take care of it? Mine was stock from 99 to this year and ran fine still
@dmax522 yeah I take care of it but I'm not knowledgeable, I'm learning things as I go, I'm going to try one more time with mine, I know how to do a tuneup on a 2.2 in these trucks but people are telling me k20 in Honda cars are 250hp they can handle the e3 spark plugs but they also say ishy plugs but ishy means it's youtube here so trying to be clean. Almost everyone I'm talking to are saying I have a couple things going on, they said sometimes when you change your oil and you are already losing oil pressure a counterfeit oil filter will finish the job of killing the oil pump. I wanted to try one of those xp filters you know? So the only thing I can do on my own is swap those e3 plugs for some acdelco iridium like gm calls for that motor and I'm going to put just a standard $8 oil filter back on it like i always usually run.
Was that first shock missing a bolt?
Yeah but I replaced the shocks a few weeks later so I put all the bolts back in
You’re going to debt if you heard my favorite cars 1: Ferrari F40 2:1990 Honda NSX 3: Lamborghini Diablo 4: Ferrari Pontiac Fiero I like old school cars
Can I have the same in good condition ?
Yeah hey Did you ever do a fuel pressure test on it? What was your reasoning for change the injectors
I didn't because I know the symptoms of an internally leaking fuel injector system. If I wasn't aware, i would do a fuel pressure test and let it sit with the gauge on it. you would then see the pressure tail off pretty quickly. Only 3 places this usually happens are the fuel pump, fuel filter (where the fuel pressure regulator is in the trucks) and the Injector/fuel rail.
Is this same as 1979 xs1100f my reservoir won't pull off?
it should be, probably swollen or corroded
I just bought an '80. Thank you for making this video! Can you share a link for the rebuild kir you used?
The kit I got came with the bike so I never got to see where it came from. Sorry mate!
Nice
How often is it replaced?
I depends on who you ask. Parts manufacturer says 15 to 20 thousand miles, car manufacturers say either 30 or 60 thousand and I usually do 100 thousand or unless there are issues with the car. If you live in a humid place I would do it closer to 60 thousand miles.
Great informative video. My pump died yesterday so I will be using the same technique. I also noticed you are missing a shock bolt @1:32. Better get that fixed!
Yeah I noticed that mid video, it’s fixed now when I put lowered shocks on it
Did you do anything beforehand to depressurize the fuel or anything? Or is it safe to proceed without that step?
The problem the truck was having was that the system was depressurizing itself because of a leak between the fuel rail and fuel injector so no pressure to start with. the pressure shouldn't be enough to worry about if you are wearing safety glasses.
@@LostSocketMotorsportsthank you sincerely for the video and response

Solid advice 💯
did you also have to adjust the valves?
Didn’t need to but always a good idea
Super like bro nice job 👍 💯
🔥🔥🔥
Hi There, thank you for the video! Question: what about the Differential? it has a different sump? or this oil change covers gearbox and Diff? Thank you!
Should cover both.
@@LostSocketMotorsports OK, the thing that make me think is: the Diff don't need extreme pressure Oil?...
Cool 👍 🔥 💯
I had the same problem
The best!
thanks!
Honda Civic EF hatch
I got a Zc ecu
Wheel not spinning when torquing new axle nut. What would cause that?
Is the car in gear?
mine does the same and i used sea foam didnt work
if that is the case then it probably needs some carb adjustments. if that doesn't work then it might need to be opened up to remove the carbon.
Awesome. I got a white 03 extended cab LS 4X4
nice, I want to get a 4x4 next
Facts, Feed the that hunger

I have a 91 Honda Civic 😊
In process of cleaning carbs on my 79 Special. Neither float needle seat has a screen. Finding those may be a real problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is my first carburetor job and following your video step by step makes the job much easier.
Wish I had an answer for you, I just used the kit and what was in it.
great!!
So worth it tho knowing your getting better gas mileage than most of in style 😎
Awesome video... 👌
