I'm determined to excel in the NIFT entrance examination, despite hearing about its difficulty. Can you share insights into the exam format, effective preparation methods, recommended study materials, and tips for achieving a high score? Thank you!
All the best with your preparations. When I took the exam, it was a written test along with one related to sketching, but that was a few years ago, so I'm not sure if it's the same now. You can check the NIFT website for the updated format. I'd recommend practicing sketching every day, specially 6 months before exam. I made another Q&A video related to NIFT where I discussed it in detail, so feel free to check it out if you need more information.

I'd probably refrain from listening to stories about other people's trauma (true crime) right before bed. That might be the direct opposite of one of those soothing sleep sound machines.
I totally understand, but for some reason, it works for me. I fall asleep in 5 minutes while listening to crime podcasts; for me, it’s like bedtime stories. I don’t know, it’s weird because it is someone else’s trauma, but my intention in listening to true crime is totally different. It’s more about understanding the worst fears and preparing myself for worst-case scenarios. I don’t think it’s related to entertainment or anything; it also comes from empathetic side.
