@@davidkachel I mean...I did say in my video that they are not "safes". They serve a purpose. I have used Stack-On for years and they work just fine for my needs. I'm sorry you don't like the product, they may not be for everyone but for my particular circumstances and for my budget, they are a fantastic choice. Thanks for watching.

As for me, I'm a bit of a savage. Nope. Guns are tools. They are supposed to be used. If it's old and rusty and serves no purpose, I don't see anything wrong with turning it into something that you will actually use. This thing was destined for a gun buy back. I turned it into a fun project, a learning tool, and a firearm I can actually use.

@thatfunkymonkey I'm just glad to see those people out there that really appreciate this rifle because it has always been my go-to for a target rifle if I can't hit something with any other rifle give me my 22 I'm going to hit it I always pissed the guys off at the range cuz they put their our targets and their 308 targets 300 yd out at least and I still managed to hit him with my 22 and they're just pissed because they're missing with their 308 and 30.06 is

Me too man. My father was never really into firearms either. I didn't touch one until I was in my late 20s. I fell in love with the hobby. Thought myself to hunt and shoot Even got a gunsmithing certification. Glad my video was helpful. Thanks for watching.

@@thatfunkymonkey yeah the one I'm trying to get has been in a shed for 3-4 years. It's in great condition though. Has just a few cosmetic issues but I think it will be a worthy steed. I'm planning to do some on-off road stuff with it. Im located in Northern Nevada area east of Reno so it's pretty much endless exploring. One question, have you had to replace the electric starter at all ? I've heard mixed things about them being reliable.
