Sean performs Debussy's Untitled Piano Nocturne on my Great Grandmother's Out of Tune Piano

Everytime I have friends over at my parents' house (which isn't often now I'm moved out), Sean sits down and gives my Great Grandmother Rosie's acoustic piano some love. As you'll notice, it hasn't been tuned in a very long time. Despite that, I still was moved by this performance. The instrument has a lovely tone and one day, I'd like to see about getting it tuned. I'm worried it won't hold it's tuning well anymore, but I really would like to have some proper recordings of Sean performing on it.

oh cool, i'm revisiting this game too. uploading it on tapes on my gaming channel. funny how youtube's ID thing says its XD you're playing though.
nice! this is my first time playing it but its not blind. i'm going for a gen 3 living dex. tbh i've enjoyed my time with colosseum. its gotten some hate for this and that, but its pretty fun...as long as you use the cheese strats and beat every colosseum a few times to get some grinding in. a lot of the other problems i've heard discussed were kind of overblown. i'll need to see if i can fix that in youtube studio.

I'll pass it on to Sean. His family's acoustic piano doesn't hold it's tuning anymore and I'm fearful my family's will be the same, but it's been on my to-do list. This was the first time it really got some love in a couple years. We're hoping to use it to record some music somehow, some way, some day.

Hey man I feel this. I'm not good in any social event even with family events. Ever since Afghanistan and Korea I haven't been the same. My wife has to keep me from walking away because I'm not comfortable around others. You just gotta keep your head up bro and stick to any decision you make.
That makes a lot of sense. I can't even imagine what kinds of things have led you to this point. I'm fortunate to be able to have options like staying up overnight to work through my stuff and still feel alright. Absolutely though. Hang in there Michael.

Hey man, I get what you're feeling here. I have a lot of the same thoughts too, about wanting to make a mark with creative works such as music but worrying that 30 years will go by and I won't have made it anywhere with that. Also I get liking more obscure games that others aren't as willing to watch or play. I'm not a streamer myself, but my advice for you on that topic would be to still play the games you like on livestreams from time to time, but to also play more games that are popular in general at the moment like you said. There's more to be said on that though. If you're gonna go that route, don't get sucked into playing the most popular games just for that reason only. You still want to enjoy what you're doing and not box yourself in to doing something in your free time that you have little to no interest in. I'd say a little digging and play games that are new to you that also seem to peak your interest, whether they're a continuation of a series you're a fan of, there's a gameplay gimmick that seems fun, just the general aesthetic is appealing to you, etc, but don't completely bail on what you personally already enjoy doing either. If you do a nice balance of both, you'll reach to a bigger audience and in turn, those that enjoy not just your gameplay but you as a person will be along for the ride when you do go back to play the things you like, even if they have no connection to those games at the moment. Good luck man, just hang in there
