Nikki definitely didn't deserve her body to be completely hijacked in the end, but like, oops, oh well. That's what happened. I think you could argue it's absolutely body horror. The thought of losing control of your body and others violating it in ways you don't consent (they were sexualizing each other's bodies every time they swapped)...that is horrific.

Listened to the podcast version and wanted to give some insight on Power Rangers Prime! This series is essentially the Power Ranger equivalent of the Ultimate/Absolute universe. The only existing characters from the Power Rangers series are Lauren, Orion and the character at the end of the issue…Rita Repulsa! This is a new take on the world with new potential for stories. What’s fun is Melissa Flores actually worked for Saban/Power Rangers for years in production and is very familiar with the brand and its various multi colored characters. It’s fun as a fan to see her get to take different concepts and twist them into new forms.

And after countless reviews and a warning from a theater mgr about how mad and unhappy people were after coming out of the movie and walkouts wanting refunds. I knew that breaking into song was just the beginning of issues with the sequel and I will wait for it's online debut in a week the way its getting slammed.
