I am a milsim fan and enjoy high-fidelity simulators or games that allow the employment of real-world strategies and tactics. I particularly enjoy games that require teamwork. For flight sims, I am into Falcon BMS, DCS World, and Flaming Cliffs 3.

UOAF 293 - SEAD in the F-4G Phantom II
Переглядів 1877 років тому
Ghostdog, Elka and I are tasked with some SEAD in Korea 1989. While our mission was highly successful, the two tankers who were supposed to be on station left earlier than expected and caused an operational loss in our group. Also, I almost hit the ground with a stall that has me lose 10,000 feet before I recover. Scary.

WGRD: DarkFib3r and Gusy's "Special Forces" Operation
Переглядів 787 років тому
Gusy and I decide to try a complete special forces attack in some 10v10 Tactical. While our attack was a disaster and our team mates expressed some strong opinions during the game about our plan, we ended up with a draw at the end. You don't learn without experimenting! I forgot to record my voice and I take full responsibility for the operation. It was still fun!
War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition - Coral Sea

Playthrough of Coral Sea scenario in WitP:AE. The sound levels in the game are higher than my voice volume, so it is hard to hear me commenting over top of some of the battles. I'll fix that next time!
UOAF 262 - Engaging the Dassault Rafale over Cairo
Переглядів 2657 років тому
This mission had me and Styles flying CAP over the Suez while 14 other ships in the package pounded Egyptian forces behind some bridges we had smashed the event prior. I also was package lead. The event was relatively uneventful as UOAF has decimated the Egyptian air. But there were some tense moments, like dodging intense AAA at night and dealing with a 2-ship of Rafaels over Cairo. Unfortunat...
UOAF 258 - SEAD operations with the F/A-18C
Переглядів 1787 років тому
I normally don't fly the F/A-18, but this mission required all the HARMS we could get so I take lead. Our 4-ship is to take out multiple SA-17s, an SA-10, a Patriot, and an SA-6. Scramblers from Faid force us to retreat on orders from the package lead. Unfortunately, one of my flight fires a MADDOG at the enemy, unaware that our package lead was merged with them. He is taken out. We fall back t...
Kanium - Aufklärung im Luchs (Recon in the Lynx)

A 30 multiplayer co-op mission hosted by the good folks at Kanium.eu. Our task is to counterattack the enemy and secure objectives Bronze, Silver, and Gold. I am assigned to Romeo, a recon group with armored support, to spot targets along the axis of advance and along the flanks. My group is a pair of Luchs recon vehicles with recon sections and my job is to scout out the east side of the advan...
BMS 4.33U1 - HOW TO adjust your time over steer using the TIME page (ROLEX)
Переглядів 3917 років тому
When flying multiplayer strike missions that attempt to coordinate the times of certain assets arriving, like SEAD, before the actual strike, it is helpful to call ROLEX to the package and use the CRUS and TIME pages to adjust your time over steer if you have been delayed or if you are significantly ahead of schedule. This will keep the synchronization of your flights even if they arrive at a t...
Wargame Red Dragon - the fight for Delta
Переглядів 668 років тому
Eagle and I go head-to-head in my first PVP battle. I created a quick custom West German deck and he created a Soviet deck. I got tunnel visioned on Delta at the expense of all other areas and Eagle slowly chipped me away. There were some furious assaults and some nice flanking maneuvers. Eagle secures the victory by taking out all my CVs.
UOAF 242 - 14-ship SPICE strike on Damascus
Переглядів 2488 років тому
A 14-ship strike package is sent to perform a CCC decapitation strike on all military headquarters in Damascus. The risk of SA-17s is high, so a 3-ship of F/A-18C Hornets performs dedicated SEAD with pre-briefed HARM shots. The codeword to kickoff the strike is UMBRELLA. All targets were annihilated with zero losses to UOAF. Great mission!

great actor and in many fun movies of my childhood. still enjoyable for adults =D
video recording of customs at Moscow International
I just got into FB jail for quoting this scene. Zuckerberg is a red-headed moron.
My favourite scene in the movie.
A few observations. Keep in mind my experience is limited to the block 50 variant of the F-16. Dive Toss is best at 45 degrees because it optimizes loft time and range. It is not intended as a close range delivery option. Rather, its intent is to utilize the platform kinetic energy to extend the range. So, increase your airspeed by diving, get below 4000 feet, designate the target (if you haven’t done so already), then execute the maneuver by chasing the bar. When the FPM reaches the bar at 45 deg then release.
On the prairie I see. Jk nice video 👍
How do you get rid of the sickening left-right jiggle when you move the map??
I think that is caused by the map being limited in size due to the scenario (i.e. it is scenario specific). I think the only way to get rid of it is to play a bigger map.
@@DarkF1b3r Hey thanks for answering, I just found out how to get rid of it. If you limit the size of the window in the shortcut, the jiggle goes away. For the Coral Sea scenario, a window width of 1513 is optimal for me, producing 0 jiggle, but wide enough so you don't have to scroll left to right.
@@gonavygonavy1193 Nicely done. That will be helpful for someone else who experiences the same thing.
I was just watching this on HBO. Classic scene. That and Whats this? You don't want it!
You can hook while landed, you don't have to hover to hook
That's true!
Super helpful
Greatful for this vid I learned a lot
thanks for the help
MY EARS!!!!!
maybe turn the cockpit sound down next time you record..
nice one bro...we need to fly together some time..Let me know??
For sure! I need to upgrade my PC so I can better experience the new DCS versions and I hope to have something new by Christmas. After that we can get a Huey mission going!
thanks for the tips bro..I will try it out coz I was getting frustrated as you sais and was thinking of quitting helicopters lol #
really helpful! thanks :-)
Effin nerds
one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever
many thanks brill ..
If you have the time, could you do a video about the Manual bombing method (and maybe explain what LADD is)? As for manual bombing, I see there's a wheel on the right side of the ICP so I can adjust the sights, but I can't see exactly what the values mean (I initially thought it was the dive angle, but my bombs hit off the target when I tried). Also, there's three modes for MAN bombing on the right console (G), OFF, STBY and ON. I couldn't see the difference between STBY and ON. Anyway, I'm not sure if any of this is really important. About 90% of the time I think we'll be using CCIP/CCRP and DTOS in some cases.
I personally have zero experience with manual bombing or its different modes. It's CCIP/CCRP or nothing for me :-)
Ah, right. I'll probably not even use it at all as well, it was just out of curiosity haha.
Só, just to confirm, other packages flown by AI won't adjust their time because of my Rolex?
Every flight in the package needs to ROLEX by the same amount and then they all fly the newly modified caret speed to get back to a coordinated mission. So if you are a minute slow but everyone else is on caret, you would call a ROLEX +1. This would put you exactly on carat, but it would put all other flights 1 minute ahead (i.e. they would be too fast). They would have to slow down, but once they are on caret, your mission is perfectly synchronized again.
But to answer your specific question, AI flights will IGNORE your ROLEX. So ROLEXing is only useful in multiplayer missions with other humans.
DarkF1b3r Oh, I see. So there's no way to "re-coordinate" timing with other AI packages in flight?
Nope, you can't really communicate with the AI in BMS outside of the tower, AWACS and your own flight. The AI will try to fly the original timings as best they can, but they cannot be made to slow down or speed up to stay coordinated with you.

Huey, that's your home! Are you too good for your own home!?
I was going to comment on the extremely loud in-game volume, then read your warning about it in the description. Still a decent playthough and it helped me decide on purchasing WITPAE this holiday sale, so thank you.
It seems like the carrier will eventually ignore my waypoints and sail straight, thus hitting the land. I have 4 WPs exactly like yours, any advice?
Hmm, I have experienced that in the past with other ships that I added to the campaign. Try moving the carrier further out to open sea and see if the behavior corrects itself. If it does, it might be an issue with where the waypoints are positioned. I wish I could be of more help here for you. Good luck!
I like that cockpit mod, do you happen to recall which one it is?
Hey, thanks for watching! It's the MiG-21 Green Cockpit mod: www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1052438/
Ty
Thanks. I was getting nut...
Im kinda new... so what's this carret about?
Hey Nuke, the caret is a little indicator on your speed tape. If you fly at that speed, you will arrive at your next waypoint on time. In some missions, having your flights arrive at precisely the right time will improve mission success. For example, having your SEAD arrive 3 minutes before your strikers will allow them to suppress enemy air defenses BEFORE the strikers arrive. To perform this coordination, you set time-over-steers for each flight and then fly the caret to arrive exactly at that time. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Yup, doing the same thing with floatplanes. All of them 50-50 on ASW duty. I find that this scenario the Japanese have better weapon systems (actual working torpedoes as opposed to American crap), the Zeroes are better fighters and more importantly have longer range, the Japanese dive bombers and torpedo bombers also have longer ranges that American planes.... In 1941 and 1942, unless you are playing easy computer, the recommended strategy for the Allies is: *RUN!*.
So am doing Andy's improved AI scenario. Finding it a bit too easy... maybe I am just that good (LOL). I have a few vids on this on my channel, most in polish though.
watching this video a year after its creation... creepy. 0_o

Many thanks for putting this up.

Perfect tutorial. Thanks.
Thanks! I'm glad you found it helpful!
Hostile f16s who's are they?
I think they were Danish F-16s in-game. They were Falcon Online human players in real life.
Oh thanks guess its not classic NATO vs Russia
Nope, NATO vs. Yugoslavia in that theater.
Ok

No IVC??
Old-school IVC without the voice distortion. You can hear the comm keying and the squelching, but regular voice is crystal clear despite it being over IVC. I love the way IVC works now, it's much more immersive!
eeeyyyy Thx for vid!!
No problem, I hope you found it useful!
I spent a year doing the campaign on this!

I'm guessing package lead was p--sed off and unplugged the server? lol. Good video, though -- good comms and brevity, in a noisy environment.
Haha, the package lead was rightly p**sed off, but the server crashed due to it running out of disk space for some reason :-)
"Mad Dog!" Just what you want to hear.
Yeah, MADDOG shots are rare in BVR engagements because they can be so unpredictable. I was surprised to hear one being fired.
Great tips mate. Have you tried any of the older force feedback joysitcks (eg. MS Sidewinder or Logitech Force 3D) with helicopter flying in DCS?
Thanks for watching! I haven't been able to try any force feedback sticks with the Huey, but I hear that the MS Sidewinder FF is great with it - if you can get your hands on one, that is.
I have a Logitech Force 3D coming that I found in perfect condition second hand. It should help to simulate the Force trim and mag hold better.
Good Stuff.
Thanks! It was a fun mission, for sure.
Nice work on the eastern side here. Well, as always: "Friendly fire, isn't..."
Haha, so true! That was a great recon plan you made, Ronin. It was extremely easy to follow and allowed for concise identification of threats. And your leadership was top notch! Next time, I'll make sure my TeamSpeak issues are sorted so that I can actually talk to battalion command rather than having to relay everything. Thanks for watching!
