Weren't there a lot of of people there! I went to Oxford and Banbury for the return run and was rewarded at Oxford with a high speed run through the station as they made up time from an earlier P.W. slack. That footage is on my YT channel, but the footage from Didcot will have to wait until I've got more time...

I was there on the Saturday and had a thoroughly enjoyable day riding on, and videoing, the trains. Several short videos are on my channel, with more still in the 'awaiting editing' queue...

This is very cool, I just wish the US kept their fascination with trains instead of siding for trucks/planes and automobiles. Maybe then, we could have had something like this

2016 was the last time I visited the R.H.D.R. Black Prince on the track, a strange locomotive.

I won a sandcastle building competion 70 odd years ago. The prize a RIDE ON THE ENGINE!! A very happy memory.

Blue Anchor is probably my favourite fo any station - yet, I'd be hard pressed to say why. Maybe it's the name, maybe it's the cute buildings, maybe it's cos you can often hear the waves of the sea from down the road.... dunno - but it's a lovely place.
