If you have an angler, you'll likely want your sonar/livescope screen near the front or the back. My customers have mounted either 1 unit in the front or back, or a unit in both the front in back. Hope this helps! Your dealer can help you with some of this, let me know if you have any questions!!

@@quincenichols3860 No one is perfect. Premier definitely cut us short on the 7" screen max, but any reasonably inventive person can get around that limitation. There are numerous manufacturers that provide pontoon fence mounts that can be used by the console (although I'm not a fan of that location unless I have a chain attached 🙂). Livescope rig screens are almost always front or console mounted, or both simultaneously on any style boat. With the Angler I'll probably be using a remote pedal/remote and a front mounted Kraken and fish off the back of the toon. I'm not even sure I'll spring for livescope. Catfish will be my focus. I'm thinking a finder mount behind the console seat that I can spin around so can be visible from captains seat or rear platform. Figuring this all out will be fun.

@@duffydorner9968 they have several options for that. One is a retractable rail that goes around the back bench that you can lift up when someone is riding back there. Very cool. One is a fixed rail around the back bench and the last is called “dual aft gates”. It puts a stainless steel rail all the way around the back of the boat just like you mentioned. Great options!

@@treyperry9722 will replace the SX and L Line. L Bowrider will still exist though. Won’t replace it immediately however. It will be a few quarters before it happens.

@@treyperry9722 LX AND LX Sport will remain. Once you feel the serene touch vinyls you will see it’s not a huge issue. Still have accents of Simtex in it as well and backed by the same warranty! They are putting out a wonderful product with pricing extremely competitive with the rest of the industry.

For 8 grand it by god better be. It wasn't awesome enough for me to have one installed. It is a cool concept but you're limited to two Minn Kota models. And if you don't but that kit you get all that center log space for regular storage.

You can order an Intrigue which will have the same helm, the upgraded upholstery and no upper check? But you loose the head, galley and booth seat also. Comes up to 27 feet. You can get the rotating booth layout that is very similar and really a neat concept! Would love to further discuss with you!

That was one of the very important things that they wanted to keep around! Yes sir it will be an option. Not sure if it will be on the 2024 model year, but it will be in the future.

The switchback obviously offers a lot more versatility and lounging backwards off the rear of the boat is a really cool experience. I think the large rear platform is going to be great for I entertaining. I am open to see how the Rotax does! I ran it and it did exactly what you would think a 150 would do! Time will tell! The biggest thing for us is that our customers love the look and are really excited to see it in person. The best part about the boat is the new upholstery! Very excited about it!

Never buy a pontoon with rear facing seats. You’ll regret it immediately. The entire purpose of buying a pontoon is for you to hang out with friends and family. When you have rear facing seats it creates a natural segregation. Even in all the promotional videos these pontoon companies put out you never see people sitting in the back. Next time you’re on the lake look around, you won’t see anyone using the rear seats. I really hope this trend stops. It seems like pontoon manufacturers are in such a “rush” to be different they completely ignore practical and useful.

@@PhilD22 Phil, I am going to have to disagree with you here. One good thing it does is offers the ability for people that may not want to swim to interact with the people that are swimming behind the boat. That is a good thing. There are enough layouts out there that the customer can decide what they want to achieve with each layout, and some people really enjoy the rear facing layouts. They are some of our best sellers. It’s all about what you want to do and if you’re not into rear facing loungers that’s fine but you shouldn’t discourage other people from purchasing a rear facing lounger.

@@rockinghammarine5126 feel free to disagree all you’d like but facts and reality are what they are. Your “pitch” is what dupes people into buying these floor plans and then people get on the water and realize the floor plan is wildly impractical. Truth is there is next to no interaction between swimmers and those onboard. (Kids swim, adults hangout onboard and keep drinking) And you know that. I will bet every dollar I have that in the next 5-7 years you will see a staggering amount of people trading in their boats for those with a more practical layout. Next time you’re on the water just look around, it’s the same thing on every one of these boats. No one uses the rear seats. With that said, fun debate, I look forward to your response.

@@PhilD22 The problem with what you were saying here is that you are calling your opinions facts and they just aren’t. Your opinion may be valid and they may be true in your area but I don’t know your area and I don’t sell in it. All I know is that on the three lakes in our local market, the rear facing layout is extremely popular and people love it. I have sold multiple rear facing layouts to the same family because they love it so much. That is the only experience that I can speak on. As far as my pitch, I don’t have a pitch. I simply listen to what the family wants to accomplish on the water and what their goals are for their boat and educate them as best I can on the stuff that we have available and let them make a choice. There are enough boats out there with different layouts that I don’t have to have a pitch for a certain layout.
