I was given The Line a few years before it was leaked. I think it was maybe around 2010 and I thought it was brilliant because it should’ve ended lovesexy. It seemed like a song that was meant as the last big party song on an album like say, baby I’m a star and so on something that Prince would do on certain albums. I never shared it because it stays with me stays with me if requested to do so, so when it finally “leaked”, I thought great for fans to hear this now that you construct their own superduper deluxe edition of the album! I was told a story behind one song off of parade by someone that is or was very close to Prince about the song Do U you lie, but now I wonder if I wonder U was also about or inspired by that story?🤔! This is unverifiable, but it also appears that Wendy and behalf of Lisa, as Prince for a raise of a 1 million dallazz. No we don’t know it could just be, gossip rumor I don’t know but so I was told, it’s interesting. Which then through Camille rebirth of the flesh his long lost cousin says it ain’t about the money we just want to play. It’s interesting to know that rebirth of the flesh was going to start both see Camille project album and then Crystal ball. And when Prince resets into a new direction, he often sort of states and new position. Or another words, a new launching pad or a new beginning. Anyway, these are my brief thoughts about most of these tracks. Happy new year 68!🥳🎉

This is only my point of view again, but I am firmly convinced after careful analysis and independent thinking into this album this period this specific era. It’s a statement of the abyss or the darkness or the disenchantment that he had with a dream factory. And I am not talking about the unreleased album. From that a desert rose rose.
